    Air horn

Do you find it effective? It's reasonably cheap, I was looking at the Loud Cycle horn as well that's a couple of car horns in a box with a a battery, but $179! and not sure if they ship to the UK. I'd not really anticipate fisticuffs - it's much more about cars not seeing me - cycled to the...

    Air horn

Sorry Andy, poor choice of language on my part - the item I linked to in my original post is a DC-DC step down converter on Amazon - 20a for thirty quid. Would assume that would work? https://www.amazon.co.uk/XWST-Step-Down-Converter-Voltage-Transformer/dp/B09CTNBBDC?th=1

    Air horn

As a long time lurker on this forum thought I'd pop my head above the parapet. Getting a bit fed up of close passes and people pulling out on me on the commute and thinking about some sort of air horn solution. I've had one on my motorbike for years and, whilst used very sparingly I've found it...

    What lights have you got?

I fitted it well before I fitted the electric kit to my bike, but I went for a hub dynamo and it's the best thing I've ever done to a bike (well, maybe electric kit apart). Suddenly you don't have to think about lights at all - when it gets dark you just press a button on the handlebars...

    Front light options...

Thanks all. I was (perhaps naively) wondering whether I could get something that would just plug in and let me use the light switch on the display to turn it on. I've got a decent 18650 torch and picked up a cheap bar mount off Amazon and reckon that will do the trick! Hopefully I shouldn't need...

    Front light options...

Hi, I've had a Wooshbikes XF08-C for the past three months and it's been a game changer - new job meant a 30 mile round trip to work (or an hour each way by train) and couldn't be happier a pedalling along the canal rather that sitting on a train! Conscious that the nights are going to start...

Could you give me your opinion on this kit?

I'd have bought it, but needed a kit back in May and got the XF08-C too (plus I don't have a square taper). Very happy with it mind :)

You press and hold either the plus or minus button?

Now I'm officially a full time "ebiker"

I can recommend Weeride as a bike seat for your young 'un. My four-year old sat in it from about 9 months old and loves it - being in front of you it's much easier to chat and it feels safer. https://www.weerideuk.co.uk
