Hello All Ive very recently purchased a Trek Rail 5 Emtb and I'm very impressed so far on its performance and rideability. But the one issue I have and am wondering if anyone can help is this. Because of the down tube thickness and low top tube and the rear shock mount the mounting for a drinks...

Go for it... Thats a great price at the moment (£769) for the ladies step thru. Looks like other version is OOS but i did see a cpl of the crossbar versions in my local store a few weeks ago... they were £1150 then

Hi Saralou4. Are you sure the charger is the correct one as the charger supplied (new) with my bike (April 2021) has a figure8 mains lead and not a cloverleaf style one? See pics. Also on your controller display is it the right hand side "stack" of LED's that only shows the bottom segment...

All I can say is that the people who are getting 10-15 miles are probably using max assistance all the time and not using the bike as intended. I always get a minimum of 35-40 miles on a charge. This is usually a mix of zero assistance on flat and levels 1-3 on hills with level 5 on steeper...

Not sure on the pedal sensor but i find it pretty responsive when kicking in. And motor cuts out within 0.5 sec whe n u stop pedalling.

I purchased my Mercury early April '21 and think its a cracking bike, having covered over 300 miles now. Only extras fitted are a small saddle bag for gas type tyre pump and a security lock and a Cateye wireless computer. Brakes are very good, gear changes smooth and the motor (when used) cuts...
