Does this require a new controller?

Don't know that specific system, but something like that can mean the controller and LCD screen are not communicating together. Different computer protocol. At least that is what happens to different generations of Sondors. They did that on purpose to slow the purchase of aftermarket parts and...

    Haibike can't decide which model

I own two Haibikes. One is an XDURO Full Seven S RX, the other is XDURO S Trekking. I'm also 64 years old, so I enjoy the Full Seven even on the street. It's like riding on a carpet when you have the pressures you want. I changed the tires so I don't have a knobby tire, but we're not allowed on...

    Tempted to DIY

I'm a BIG Haibike fan. I'd never consider that buying components off the shelf, and putting them on a standard bicycle, to remotely come close in quality to what a team of engineers can design and test before putting it on the market.

Advice for a newbie thinking of a 20 mile commute

The one law of eBikes is buy as much battery as you can afford, maybe more. I'm always amused by folks that are considering replacing the purpose of an automobile with a bicycle, but put a very restrictive price on that replacement. Consider how much you will save in gasoline in just a few...

Something about that new Haibike feel

I bought an Haibike Full Seven S RX last November. I'm just crazy about it, putting on over 600 miles on trails and on the road. Then I went to Crazy Lenny's in Madison, Wi USA website a month ago and looked at the 2016 model Haibike clearance sale. That may have been a mistake? I came home with...

    New from Illinois, USA

Always looking for information on eBikes, and more recently eMTBs. I own 2 Sondors original fat bikes, and a Haibike XDURO FullSeven S RX. I'm an avid rider, and put on 2,000+ miles on my pedelecs in 2016. I joined this evening when reading that someone needed a review on Sondors. So glad to see...

    Sondors Review

I live in Illinois, USA. I bought a second hand Sondors fat bike in May 2016. I added an aftermarket LCD and 20a controller, paid $100 for the pair. All in $600 USD. It does come stock with pedal assist, but unless you buy the LCD, you are stuck at factory set PAS in the controller. Rode more...
