Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

First time I tried it, it propelled me about 3 feet and then wouldnt anymore. I tried a few more times, after about 3 attempts it started going 3.5 - 4mph with me on it. I then tried biking about a mile and it worked fine for the vast majority of that mile, with just one power cut out for a few...

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

There's no assist on flat ground or the slight hills around my house, not even intermittently. The only way I can get the assist to work for a half second while riding is to hold the brakes while pedaling for a second, let go, then sometimes I get a quarter to half second of assist.

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

Woosh sent me out a replacement blue gear under warranty, which is as wonderful as their customer service has always been. Unfortunately, that didn't fix the problem :( edit: video was misleading/wrong

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

This is in the bearing inside the blue gear? So the forward/backward motion he's checking at this point in the video: right? It seems like theres two such mechanisms in the motor, one inside the blue gear and one inside the massive drive gear. The blue gear is infinitely easier to...

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

Gotcha, so since its periodically working, the blue gear is stripped and sometimes happens to catch on the non-stripped piece of it?

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

Alright I spoke too soon on the walk mode. It does periodically propel it with vigor, but like when I'm riding, the majority of the time the motor is just buzzing and putting out very minimal power. If I hold the bike in place while this super low power time is happening, the motor tries to push...

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

Walk mode propelled it with vigor - does that narrow it down to a possible issue with the vlcd5?

Woosh TSDZ2 - (very) intermittent power

Hi all, I have a350w 48v TSDZ2 from Woosh mated to a Specialized Allez. I bought the kit a few months ago, installed it with only minor troubles, and have ridden 200+ miles on it so far. I haven't ridden it for 2 weeks or so, but fired it up today to get a run to the grocery in. The battery was...

    Introducing the new Woosh Rambla

I couldn't find on the Woosh page itself, what's the height from ground to saddle on its lowest? and is it possible/comfortable to fit a non-suspension post to bring it down a bit, or is that seating position just too low?

Help! Is my bottom bracket suitable for a TSDZ2?

So peter.c and Nealh, I took the plunge and ordered the kit from Woosh, it came today, my LBS pulled the BB today, and I installed it today - oh my, it's insanely good. I've never ridden an e-bike before, but it was magical. I was doing 15 mph up an annoying hill right by my house, around 5%...

Help! Is my bottom bracket suitable for a TSDZ2?

Excellent, thanks Peter and Neal for the support - I'll place the order and have my LBS pull the bottom bracket! Very excited.

Help! Is my bottom bracket suitable for a TSDZ2?

I wasn't planning on using a throttle and brake cut off, it's responsive enough with the torque sensor it doesn't seem to be necessary. I've attached the best pics I can get of the bracket with the crankset still on, along with a measuring tape - sorry for inches, but 68mm is ~2.67 inches, so...

Help! Is my bottom bracket suitable for a TSDZ2?

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster. I have a 2012 Specalized Allez (pretty sure its this one: https://www.thebikelist.co.uk/2012/specialized/allez) and I'm looking at fitting a TSDZ2 from Woosh onto it. I don't know a whole lot about bike maintenance and parts, so I'm having trouble...
