    Intuvia question

I've just checked mine, its been on for 297 hours and I've covered 1366 miles, so just over 4mph average speed, similar to your readings. My rides generally average around 14mph, so I'm thinking the "Power on" hours includes charging time. I generally charge my battery on the bike, so the system...

    Bosch chargers

Every electrical appliance purchased in the UK, needs to be supplied with a 3 pin plug as standard. Evans are certainly braking the law. My Trek purchased from a Trek dealer, was supplied with a 2 pin plug, but the shop was aware of this Law and fitted a Visitor plug, that they buy locally for...

    I hate you....

Generally items do not have a perpetual warranty, the warranty will only be in place from the original purchase date, so best to get a full refund and Buy new again. N.B any item purchased in (including UK) comes with a 2 year warranty, a little known fact. The EU directive in question is...

    Continuing disappointment in Scott

Your scenario seems very familiar, I understand how bad Scott are, as a brand. I will defiantly vote with my money and never buy a Scott bike ever again.

    Bosch - New eMtb mode

Has anyone had the Bosch Firmware update, to get the e-MTB mode instead of sport mode, on a bike that has been dongled? Does de-restrictor still work? Asking for a Friend....................

Strange creaking noise when pedalling Scott/Bosch fs mtb.

I agree with all points previously mentioned. I would also add, seat post creak, does it still creak when standing up? If noise goes it could be the seat post, I use a thin smear of grease around my seat post where it fits into the frame, this seemed to stop the noise I had. My Trek Powerfly 7...

    Disappointed in Scott

My Wife Brought a Scott as she has always had Scott mountain bikes, but the last one was very poorly made, with corrosion forming on Handle bars, as they were painted steel, spokes wear corroding, and nearly every nut and bolt had signs of corrosion on, bike had never been in the rain, and it...

    Charging iPhone from Bosch Intuvia

I've used my Bosch Intuvia unit to charge my iPhone 5s, as it has charged to over 50% in less than half an hour, from 15-20% whilst still riding my bike. However I found if phone goes lower than 10% or turns off due to low battery the charging is a lot slower, I make sure I put it on charge at...

    Fitbit

If you get a Fitbit Surge or Charge, make sure to keep the receipt, as the straps either break, crack or bubble up. I've had a surge for a year, and it seem the straps only last about 3 months. Saying that Fitbit Customer care is very good, and they have sent me 3 replacement Surges in the first...

Bike park wales extra £7 for e-bikes.

Update from BPW We have decided to adjust the entrance fee for e-bikes from £15 to £12 with immediate effect. This is to reflect the fact this is not about profit but to ensure there is a differentiation between self-propelled riders and e-bikes for the reasons already indicated...

Bike park wales extra £7 for e-bikes.

Unfair as my eBike battery only lasts approx. 2.5hours, but on a "normal" bike I could ride for 5-6 hours, and could cover more ground. Higher charges as the ebike cost more, so the riders must be wealthier....... Are they going to start charging more for bike with wider tyres, like fat bikes...
