    Thank you for your reply. I was afraid that was the case. Maybe one could rig up some kind of sliding rheostat to alter the current going to the 24v brushed motor? Regards, Tom

    Does a twist throttle exist that bypasses the control box entirely. That controls the bike speed by regulating the current going to a 24v dc motor?
