48volts and very big battery, seatpost suspension and a pair of padded underwear make every bike fun. Geared hub motor with min 5:1 or mid drive, some cheap but heavy rad power bikes on site with 22” wheels look fun just over a grand, Halfords do one for grand as well...

If you are lucky and find a good chap at Halfords he will order you the right spokes, if you unlucky the staff are all young and not have a clue if you ask the staff they will direct you to a store with a long term employee who knows.

Thanks for that link, I have gone 48v battery now but think you can use a 36/48volt kt controller and limit the amps with the 48volts battery to the 36volts motor, the controller converts the current into phase current? Amps and volts?

Most have gone to disk hydraulic brakes that just work, kits from China for £26, you have to screw in the adjusters to make the levers move together.

Not a lot of talk about new hubs now, is the G370 better, for the wife at slow speed would go higher torque but my daughter did a wheelie by mistake so think rear drive has some problems if the rider is not aware of power? Got bad wrists now so need something to stop vibration on poor roads...
