    Re: changing the speed limit on the KT LED890. You have to keep pressing the down button many times before it will register on the led dial, because the default speed limit is set ridiculously high.

    No problem with levels 1-4, it was only at level 5 where the power greatly exceeded the 'nominal' 250w that I was concerned about. Anyway, thanks for all the replies, I have a much better idea now about power levels.

    I do have P3=1. I was just pointing out if you set C5 to reduce the maximum power, then intermediate power levels (1-4) are also reduced by a similar percentage. Where these assist levels are derived puzzles me. I would have thought it should be based on a percentage of the maximum motor rating...

    Jakeo, I had the same problem but managed to sort it by chance. The problem is that the default limiter speed must be set quite high, very much higher than the 33km/h maximum shown on the speedometer. This means you have to press the mode button many times before the decrease in the speed...
