I had sorted it out with your help. It does the right speed and distance so I am happy. It does seem to assist up to 18mph, but I don't mind that I can just turn down assist if it eats into the battery too much.
In case someone else is in the same boat and is too lazy to get in touch with...
I will try later when I have the time.
I couldn't find much of the manual online the videos on the wisper site are gone. The only thing in the manual is that the down button and power for 3 seconds changes km/h to mph.
Thanks once again for your help.
Maybe wisper can chime in on...
I have a wisper 905 standard. It is working fine but the speedometer seems to be out.
I have been comparing the the distance and speed on the bike to the 2 apps on my android phone.
There is a difference every time. Now I know the gps in the phones can be inaccurate, but the...
Thank you everyone
I really liked the big bear, and wanted it to be suitable for me but I am 94kgbat the moment and I will lose more weight with exercise and I will be towing.... sadly the big bear is out.
The 905 might also been sold so it's back to square one... If the 905 for some reason...
Thanks for replying woosh
Just when I thought I made a decision....'thanks'
But seriously what do you think of my concerns of wheel slip and towing a trailer with 40kg overall weight.
I think since I am pretty much new to biking the ride feel I will not see as an issue.
Anything else to add...
You must spend a fair amount of time on this forum giving advice. For that I thank you.
Yeah the possibility of wheel slip and the fact that the trailer is tugging on the back make me a nervous about bear. I guess it's gonna be another wisper. I do like the the woosh batteries for...
I do like the look of the 905se but I always wanted to try different brands and the woosh have a lot of fans and recommendations all around too.
What seems to appeal even more that there are according to the ad:
"got upgraded handlebars, Air Forks, Nobbly Off Road tyres, Pedals...
The time has come to find me an electric bike too. The budget is low so looking at used and ex demo.
My wife has a wisper 705se that both she and I like. But I would like something a bit different.
I am 95 kg so just under 15 stone 5'9".
Found this big bear plus...
It has been a while and I thought I would give my impressions of the wisper 705se that my wife had been using since the end of June beginning of July.
This is not a review as you would expect it as biking is not something we have a lot of experience in. This is really just giving...
Luckily the bike guy whom serviced the trailer offered to drill up the hitch to 12mm he also tried to enlarge the rim but only got to 22mm before he had to stop because he was going to hit the welding.
What he advised after that to get a serrated flange nut with a smaller flange diameter.
Thank you very much Joe. I thought it was.
@Nealh what do you think?
To me it looks OK I have to do some measurements and possibly ask the seller too.
The good thing is the seller makes custom brackets so i think we have a solution.
Thats a viable option thank you nealh.
I just need steel an angle grinder and a 12 and a 9 mm drill bit to buy.
Don't get me wrong If it comes down to it i will do it. I was hoping for something more off the shelf option.
I am a bit annoyed as we specifically asked the dealer for a bike to...
Just a little update we both really like the bike but we couldn't attach the trailer yet.
We got a second hand giant peapod and the trailer attachment bracket that goes on the rear axle has too small of a hole to go on the axle.
Also the the rim on the bracket is too small for the...
We choose the 26" wheel version for my wife she felt quite comfortable with that.
We are looking into getting me one too if we can sort out funds or the cycle to work scheme. It will be something different for sure although I really liked riding it when I had a go. (When assist still worked....)
