    Raleigh Stow-Away e-bike?

Ah, okay. Never-the-less, whilst TranzX isn't that well known a brand over here, they too are still a pretty big company supplying bicycle parts and electronics to these bike brands, so future parts shouldn't be a problem:

    Raleigh Stow-Away e-bike?

As @soundwave pointed out Raleigh is a part of Winora; many Winora bikes Europe use TranzX drive systems (all the Stow-e-way electronic parts still feature in TranzX's current catalogue), so I think there's a good probability it'll be around for a while yet. More of a worry is it's a CANbus...

    Raleigh Stow-Away e-bike?

The Stow-e-way is well reviewed by ebiketips here. It features in several of their own "Best Buy" tables. The same bike is also sold as the Raleigh Evo. Raleigh often show it at Caravan and Motorhome shows and exhibitions (I guess that's a clue as to where they see a good chunk of their market)...

    controller contecter issue

Other members here have had trouble getting in touch with "Swifty"... This thread may be worth a read. This member was looking for what seems to be a 36v version (WZKD3613KA) of the same controller for his Swifty bike.

    Slime.

That's my bad. I didn't realise Schwalbe did so many variants of tyre wearing the same "Marathon Plus" name. Those Marathon Plus MTBs are listed in Schwalbes city/tour section (i.e. not in their cross, gravel or MTB section). Would they be preferable to some of their other softer/more compliant...

    Slime.

The OP is hoping to cycle canal paths. IMHO Marathon Plus are great for on-road use, but too slippy for the varied terrain you often find on canal paths. I'd have thought one of the other Schwalbe tyres - a wider, trekking oriented tyre might be better for both comfort and grip on a mix of...

Help! Fiido D21 or Woosh Rambletta

The Fiido D21 uses a true Torque Sensor so relies on how much pressure you put into the pedals to determine how much assistance is given from the motor - as Woosh described above. The cheaper Fiido D11 is exactly the same bike, but uses a Cadence Sensor to provide a combination of Current...

    Fiido D4S Price?

For my commuting use, I'd be happy with a D4S, but preferred the D11 as it's a bit lighter and cost wasn't an issue for me. It's been great for that. For your use (Canal riding), I'd buy the RadRhino as you were thinking, except I wouldn't want to be manhandling 33kg at age 70 up and down steps...

    Fiido D11 Folding e-bike - A sort of review

Yes, here. Change the currency on the top-right of the page to show prices in £. Fiido hold stock/have warehouses in Poland, US, UK etc... My D11 was shipped from their UK warehouse in Bath. Mine arrived by 48hr courier. On my D11, the way the throttle is implemented is technically illegal in...

    Fiido D4S Price?

AFAIK, all Fiido bikes come with mudguards in the box, although usually not already fitted. Some are more effective than others. The D4s has pretty good ones, shown fitted on their product page linked above.

    Fiido D4S Price?

Who are the "many people" saying that? Bicycleland and Vive were the two best known UK retailers for reselling Fiido (both East London); Vive sold a few below normal prices before they went out of business. It's often possible to import from overseas for less apparent cost, but (if it's caught)...

    Almost there?

You'll be fine with that usage for many years, provided you look after it properly (plenty of advice in other threads here), and provided you don't fall into the canal (as did happen to another member here).

    Almost there?

IMHO it looks very good value given the features/equipment level, especially at its current discounted price. The only things I'd be wary of are that it weighs 33kg which is very heavy if you need to manhandle it, and that the price of a replacement battery if you ever need one is half the price...

Help! Fiido D21 or Woosh Rambletta

Yes, I've seen it. That regurgitated "news" is only about 4 months old, and long since corrected. Again much crap spouted about derated motors: No it isn't. It's marked as 250w for EU compliance. It's the same with their M1P/M21 model. But actually finding that out would be far too difficult...

Help! Fiido D21 or Woosh Rambletta

I looked at many folders before buying my own Fiido and dismissed the Rambletta because the Fiido: 1) Is lighter to carry 2) Trolleys better (can be pushed easily along a station platform) 3) Has a bigger battery 4) Is cheaper What the Rambletta has is: 1) It's a low step if that matters 2) It...

Is it safe to connect a 40W elecric blanket to my ebike battery?

Here's my Fiido D11 36v 417Wh seat-post battery powering my inverter. So it goes battery to Buck (silver box) then to the inverter; that's giving me 3 x 12v outlets, 6 x USB, and one 240v mains socket. The issue for you here would be the £10 120w Buck I chose limiting current (i.e. it's the same...

Help! Fiido D21 or Woosh Rambletta

Well, @Bonzo Banana, what a great shame you didn't bother to even read my own review and ongoing commentary (which isn't entirely flattering), because that answers most of your issues. The few other issues you raise have all already been discussed in several other threads on this forum by other...

Help! Fiido D21 or Woosh Rambletta

I think both bikes are worthy of consideration. I've been riding a Fiido D11 - the cadence sensor version of the torque sensor D21 for over a year now. My initial thoughts and ongoing updates (inc a warranty claim) are here. Whilst I respect everyone's opinion, @Bonzo Banana's critique is for...

Is it safe to connect a 40W elecric blanket to my ebike battery?

I don't think the 12v blankets are up to much; there are plenty of reviews of all types on YT, many from Van Lifers (those living permanently in vans). My take is that 50w isn't much by way of heat output at all, and hardly any 12v ones have any option to adjust heat (at best it might be...

    Battery life

lol. I think that's hysterical, but true! Ditto. Maybe I'm late to the party, but my "holiday home" was bought as a write-off and rebuilt/renovated to be as eco as it could be... it is far "greener" than a modern build: oak and lime circa 1850, it's naturally warm, and I'll retire (properly)...
