    Tow bar bike carriers

I agree, the Thule is so easy to load a bike on.once the rack is on the car it wont take more than a minute to load a bike on an lock it to the carrier. For those who are unable to lift an ebike up the few inches to the carrier, you can even buy a small ramp to wheel the bike up.

    Tow bar bike carriers

I've got a Thule tow bar carrier it's a Thule 929 EuroClassic G6 3-bike towball carrier http://www.freeborn.co.uk/thule-929-euroclassic-g6-3-bike-towball-carrier?gclid=CMmPg6eflLsCFUzHtAodzBcA-A I've carried my Kudos and my wife's Woosh with no problems. It can carry 3 bikes up to 60K @...

    Success

OK since I posted about fitting an extra battery to my Kudos Tourer I've done it. I've got the bottle battery from my Typhoon fitted to the Tourer. It works. I just need to tidy up the look of the wiring and stuff and it's a goer. I also need to get the rain to stop so I can get out and try it...

    Important new safety device....

They're no good to me. At this time of year I keep my ears covered when out on the bike. Cars behind me wouldn't see them. Maybe in the summer I will look into them, maybe not though.

    What type of cable!

Right, I've ordered the cables and I've ordered the battery holder. It should come early next week. I'll get it all assembled in place on the bike and then consider how to connect the cable. Soldering is my preferred choice but I'll see what it's like once it's all in place.

    What type of cable!

    Cheers.

    What type of cable!

OK, if I was to connect a second battery to my Kudos Tourer, what cable would I need! I mean size and amps and stuff.

    Just for a laugh.

It would need to be a fan heater in this weather. ;)

    Just for a laugh.

OK with the snow, ice, rain and wind still here I thought I'd do some experimenting in my garage. This involved my Kudos Typhoon and my Tacx rollers. With the front wheel removed and the forks bolted to the rollers the bike is stable and secure. Last year I posted about getting 35 mph on...

UK to Harmonise Electric Bike Law with Europe?

So, am I correct in believing that my wife's Woosh Santana with full throttle will still be legal after this? We bought it in 2013.

    Frame size

I'd say yes. You'll be cycling just the same whether assisted or not. You'd want to be as comfortable on either. A bike which is too tall for you will put you off for life. A bike which is too small for you will be a right pain.

I've often thought that about the English. ;)

Bargain MTB rack and light kit

I've got a rack like that on my Kudos Typhoon. The Typhoon has no place to bolt a standard rack on. The rack works well and carries my stuff with no problem. I pack my rack bag with my spare battery, tools and a couple of bottles of IRN BRU. I had to change the quick release seat post clamp for...

    2017 KTM prototype....

It is rumoured that there will be 3 motor versions. Version 1 is for the commuter in a city, the motor will be a chihuahua, not a lot of power but small enough to stick in your bag if you need to get on a bus or train when the power runs out. Version 2 is designed for off road use only, the...

    I've resigned.

I've got a few plans, none of which involve work. :). I've got to buy a bungalow and a new motorbike. I've also been challenged to a cycle trip in the summer which will require me to get fitter. I just need the rain to stop or even slow down a little so I can get my first bike ride of the year.

    I've resigned.

A long distance ebike is what I'd prefer over a fast ebike. Now that I've got time I might have a look.

    I've resigned.

You retired at 41? You sir, are my hero. I always said people should retire when they can. There's more to life than working. I was also told I'd get bored. My working pattern was 7 days and 7 nights in a 35 day pattern. I had 21 days off in those 35 days. I was never ever so bored that I...

    I've resigned.

I'll derestrict the Typhoon and get there quicker. First though, I'd better phone Kudos Dave and buy half a dozen spare batteries. ;)

    Trip simulator

The mapping on this is great when you set it to cycle tracks. It chooses the canal towpath instead of roads. The only flaw, which is forgivable is the battery usage. That isn't a problem, I know how far my batteries will take me.

    I've resigned.

Well I'm 57 and have worked for 41 years. I decided to take my pension and go. I may or may not work again, time will tell. In the meantime, I'm going to see how many miles I can clock up on my bikes. Hopefully the spring and summer will be kind to me. Ironically, I've been offered 2 jobs in...
