    New Panasonic Throttle Kit

This is info I just received from 50Cycles: There's good news regarding the throttle, we're told by their engineers it will operate the motor up to 20 kph (about 12.5mph) compared to 6 kph (less than 4mph) in all other models. Not only that, the maximum pedelec assistance level is greater...

    New Panasonic Throttle Kit

There are situations where after a long ride, and depending upon your age and condition, you may encounter leg cramps, exhaustion, wherein a little respite from pedalling may be welcome. If you have it there, what negative would it have?? I just was wondering how fast you could go, with it...

    New Panasonic Throttle Kit

Does anyone have any experience with the new Panasonic ThrottleKit? I ask, because I am shortly taking delivery on a new ProConnect "S". Can this be used to cruise along with the bike, as in other bikes? Why would it be limited to just a "walk-along" speed? Can that be disabled in order to...

    Pro Connect FULL REVIEW unedited.

Thank you for the post, any information I can obtain on the Kalkoffs is much appreciated, as we have no dealers in the U.S. I am awaiting delivery on a ProConnect-S, and wonder how much of this review pertains to the "S" model? I am not sure what the handlebat will be like, nor the seatpost...

    The end of the Velib?

I tink the system is great. I have used it for 4 months straight laqst year, with no problems. I never noticed that there were that many stolen or missing bikes, and do not understand why that is a problem for them. The last person to rent the bike is responsible for returning it, and if not...

Revising software on Panasonic motor in ProConnect?

I read in another thread that FLECC had mentioned that it was possible to get better hill climbing ability, if the software was revised. Is this possible on a Pr-Connect? I do not live in the UK, so UK laws against this would not worry me. Here many european cars have their engine software...

    E-bike Of The Year

    New High End Electric Bike

Hey, I have nothing to do with the site! I thought it might interest everyone here. What interested me, is the size of the battery, speed, duration of the battery time, and 3 year warranty, all in a bike about the same weight as a Pro-Connect that I have ordered, and the price on the base model...

    Cycle computers Pros and Cons

If all you are looking for is distance travelled, then if you happen to have a Apple iPhone mobile, there is a free program that uses the builtin GPS function to determine miles pedaled or travelled, as well as a save function. Just a thought, it works for me.
