    Turnigy charger

Hello Muckymits, First off the chargers are a good addition to any house hold. Now given that your signiture says lipo. I will assume that you are trying to charge a 6 series Lipo Brick since the voltage is a nominal 25.2v. The settings you will need if that if the correct chemisty is Lipo...

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

Maybe your right. For shame on me. I never really done the education and PhD that maybe I could have achieved. I just jumped straight into the working world. My experience and although I'm sure not as vast as your own I’m sure hasn't been too bad so far. I've grown up in the world of retail and...

    Removing rear gear cogs?

Majority do use a freewheel type. Which is one of the main gripes becasue you are only issued a set amount of gear sets that can be used. Often being a lower quality sprokets. However the newer hubs that seem to be comnig into the market and more so over the next year are using the cassette...

    Lead or Lithium?

Hello Neptune, No that is not technically true. A good indicator would be the weight of the bike or even finding out what make / model the bike is.

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

I agree with this view and it really is the limiting factor. I don't know enough about the EN15194 methods and testing but I do really hope that the laws do get an update. As Flecc says thoough it would probably push into years before anything really becomes apparent. I'd say most testing...

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

As Flecc point out in lots of posts previous to this one. When the bikes did make just 250w linear the bikes were pretty much unusable in the real world. Still it keeps people in jobs and makes money from nothing to make sure we are all contained in our safety bubble.

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

With both you an Indalo the main instigators of it. Your both **. Mainly Indalo who seemed to go off on a rant about other memebers to start with and you jumping on the band wagon.

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

I wouldnt fight you, thats a silly idea. Its merely an expressive word. A bad one admitadly. But sometimes i just don't think you add anything to the forum other than negativity sometimes. If your not going to help then don't post. Just dont critise everything anyone else is doing. Good...

    affordable 26 inch bike

Cycalmatic bike is a bit of a bargain at the moment costing around the £400 mark with added discounts from Sports HQ. Other than that try the Kudo's Range of bikes. They seem to offer good value for money.

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

Im bored of both you and Indalo chipping in your two pence worth on anything that does not add anything positive to the forum but negativility. If any one should leave its you and your pointless boring comments that do nothing to help out people. Legal or not. I feel you have no technical...

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

Ps the 250w motor is great as a little geared hub and much better than the older front one I've used. Think there really coming along each year. Soon they will bring out a cassette version for the 250w motors which would be great for the higher spec hubs. But the power thing I hope does get...

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

I agree with your statement in it entirety Dave. I've used over powered kits and came to the conclusion I didn't need it and I was defeating the object of it being a bicycle. So in the last 12 months I've done a full circle from legal lower power to fast geared motor and direct drive to back to...

I sometimes wonder if this forum is full of 50+ year olds going on 12. I can also see why there is a younger Client of forum users on endless sphere for the uk ebike scene. It seems to for go some of the ballshit that's on here. It would be nice if we all just got along. Keep calm and...

British racing green. Like my eyes! Colours come in and out like fashion. There's always trends that follow but get the core colours right and you'll always sell them.

Is your pedelec legal? From CTC's cycle magazine

I really hope the new ebike rules and laws get past because the ratings on motors are hogwash anyway. Everyone's riding bikes that pull far more than the standard continous rating. The 15mph is the only thing that matters in the real world. Speed is the danger factor. Ebrakes, pedelec...

    New Kudos Secret bike

Retail outlets are hideous for rates. The only good thing is there is not alot left for Upwards only rental agreements and alot of landlords are almost letting places become rent free just to allow the high street not to suffer. Thats interesting about the waste on the bikes Dave didn't even...

    New Kudos Secret bike

Its not cheap getting bikes over from the far east. The amount of commodity codes and getting the shipping details is a farce. On top of that I reckon a couple years back they sold alot of the containers for scrap metal to higher up demand on the shipping routes. They keep putting slower...
