Simple answer is no. The rear drop outs are a different shape to most front fork drop outs.

If the chain is not long enough you can add links and use a couple of split pins to join them.

Tongxin or cute motors seem to be popular with the smaller wheeled folders and tend to be a very good match.

I think from memory when I fitted a front motor I missed out one washer so the order was it-motor/torque washer/fork/washer/locking ring/nut

I think it will work well to be honest. The direct drive has the ability to be high rpm and the wheel size will be naturally torqey with a modest amount of current. I think it will be a good match. It will be robust anyway.

The 250w rating is ok becasue none of them make 250w anyway. The point is the 250w is a bit of a none entity and a very crude way of measuring the power. All the hubs / crank and electric motors naturally make more watts when load is applied. If you only had 250w to help you out on hills...

They are currently quite good at the moment taking 2 weeks to get items to the UK. Many members have reported the motors being delivered quite quickly. It may be worth a punt on the cute motors since the Bafangs have all gone up in price.
