If you haven’t already done so, cover up the exposed Yellow and Red connectors to prevent water / dust / debris getting into them.

    Replacement E-Bike

What’s your budget? Riese and Müller do very nice bikes with the latest Bosch Performance Line CX motor with 85Nm. They also do belt drive, so no more worn out chains. I have one of their bikes and it is a good bike with a good motor.

    Wisper 705 Fried Controller

Hi David Spoken to Adrian and said that he will send the parts out (with a modification) to Rutland Cycling at Milton Keynes today. Please thank him again for us. Given that we’ve had this problem and the types of riding that we do is mixed terrain; road, cycle paths, bridleways, gravel /...

    Wisper 705 Fried Controller

I was servicing the bikes and giving them a good clean after a two week cycling holiday, when I found this on Mrs DGs bike. She has a Wisper 705, (which is a rear hub drive with a 375 Wh battery) and it looks like the controller got overheated at some point and melted the wiring. I’ve...

    broken cable help

This is what the erider manual for Model 15 states. This looks like it may be in contradiction to what is written on the actual tyre based on what you’ve previously advised.

Haibike trekking 6 Hybrid Vs Raleigh Motus Hybrid

I’ve previously had the Raleigh Motus GT and found it to be very powerful. I was five stone heavier then, around 20 stone at the time and had no issues with it pulling my weight.

    broken cable help

It’s not only the case of repairing the tube via a patch or sealant, but also checking what caused the puncture. For example, you may have a thorn, nail or similar that caused it which may still be in there. As previously mentioned, it would be easier, once off the moped, to take it to a tyre...

    broken cable help

Do not use a screwdriver as a tyre lever, totally the wrong tool and can damage the rim or the inner tube. Use a proper tyre lever, it’s much safer for the rim, tube and yourself. If you can’t get the tyre off take it to KwikFit or similar and let them deal with it. It won’t be too expensive...

    broken cable help

They use similar in car tyres, so I can’t see why it wouldn’t work on your small tyre. A lot of cars come with a sealant kit rather than a spare tyre today. Indeed, I’ve had a number of cars with this and doing 40k miles per year punctures we’re inevitable and I’ve used these with no issues...

    broken cable help

I‘ve used Slime and MucOff sealant before and they never worked when I had a puncture. However, I’m currently using WeldTite sealant and got a puncture last week 10 miles from where we parked the van. I’m pleased to report that it did its job and the tyre stayed up, albeit a bit softer, put some...
