Think i figured it out. Altered some settings. I have the pedal sensor working intermittantly. Think i need a reset and count the magnets in the motor like saneagle suggested
It was the LCD4 that I ordered. It arrived today. Pedal sensor will still not work. I went through instructions and after setting top speed, wheel size, mph/kh you are supposed to hold down button to get to p settings. Pressing down does nothing?
Whilst iI am waiting for a LCD3 I tried the Kt controller on a compatable 880 LCD that I ordered as a spare. Got it connected up but the pedal sensor that I ordered which has 12 magnets will not work. I am guessing it is incompattable because it will not drive the motor. The 6 km speed button...
Yes I meant for setting up. I will of course use a dedicated lifepo4 bms as. In the case of a 36v pack It is possible to buy a 13s bms which brings the fully charged 3.65v cells to 43.8v but I have not seen a 43.8v charger for this?
Has anybody had any experience with Tipsun lifepo4 Chinese cells. I ordered some screw terminal 32700 6000mah to experiment with ? I bought with the intention of being able to use them to build a leisure battery if they do not work out for bike batteries.
My main question is giving that they...
Looks like a 36v 350w motor run at 24v would be an ideal switch from a 20 to 26"wheel. Giving 233w to remain legal. Technically I guess?
Better to just try and widen the 20" frame by the looks of things.
I Just downloaded a few different Stroboscope apps from google play and Stroboscope Engineer seems to perform reasonably well on tests on my Cordless drill. Gotta test the actual motors now to compare!
I connected the motor to my Argos Emove to compare speeds. It looks to be of similar speed. If I wanted to now put this on a 26" wheel. Would it work by deceasing the voltage?
Thanks, I came to that conclusion after talking to the seller on the Sunday Market. But I have not tried it yet. I do hope you are right though. I'm an idiot
The display controller is playing up on my bike. I will check connections but It will not power off sometimes without switching off at the battery. Anybody else experienced this?
