Any info on bypassing the brake sensor cables on bafang 250w mid drive kit. Are they really neccasary? I will not be fitting the throttle. My Decathlon of the shelf does not have them! I am guessing it will be just a case of shorting pins on the connector. Any info would be appreciated.

£300 apart might have had an influence. They recommended a M for my height. I could not feel that much difference between that and the S. My other bike was a XL so went with that.

What I am wanting to know is if it is possible to check each individual cells resistance once it is part of a made up pack? Is it just a case of touching onto that cells + & - or do the other cells connected influence the value?

I did chat with them a while ago. They seem to be a reputable company. They did confirm that their batteries are made in China but I guess they pretty much all are.

Very Interesting read. Thank you. I just wish there was a reputable company out there that leased the batterys and who would take care of all the technicalites. Maybe that would improve safety for everybody and let us all get on with enjoying getting out and about on our bikes!

Thanks for pointing that out. As this was my first and only battery build, I have learned that the cheap BMS boards rarely have a balance function. Knowing what I know now, I would certainly not have used a cheap BMS such as this. I find these battery packs both Intriguing and scary at the same...
