I run a Trek with Performance CX setup. 16 tooth Connex chainring lasts about 2,000 miles then I reverse it for a further 2,000. Chains (KMC X11) last around 2,000 (Smoove every 200 miles) and I'm still on the original M8000 cassette (11-42) although the 13/15/17 rings are looking a bit worn...

Last year I added my Powerfly7 (£2,500) to my LV house&contents insurance at no extra cost. Covered "Anywhere" so long as I use a Gold Standard lock anchored to an "immovable object".

I have a pair them fitted to my Powerfly 7 which has 29ers - perfect fit (although had to use zip-ties as there are no lugs on the Trek).

Same for me... Trek Powerfly 7: swapped Marathon+ for a pair of 28x2" GT365s a couple of months/800 miles ago. I wouldn't use anything else now - even tho' I had to get the 2" version from Rosebikes, Germany. With 25/30psi fore and aft they are so comfy on the horribly uneven lanes around me...

I'm so glad I found this thread - my Trek with Bosch Performance CX (4,000+ miles/1 year) has been creaking for a while and I was unable to pin it down. Found this thread, read it, took the cover off, tightened the two 13mm nuts and three T20 screws and... the creaking has gone! Thank You...

Out of curiosity, how many miles/hours have you run it for? Mine is now at just under one year of running, has done 3,600 miles and shows 639 power on hours and not a spanner to be seen! And it hasn't been back to the dealer since new - I service everything myself.
