Powacycle: new charger or new battery?

For a few pence worth of fuse, try the fuse first, the powabykes share the same fuse for the input and output, Halfords sell the fuses in the car dept. Sounds like the fuse if its zero volts. EDIT sorry I'm a moron, didn't read it was a lipo, just saw Powabyke and thought SLA. Still could be a...

The one you're trying to take off may have a left handed thread, i.e. it unscrews clockwise, you may have spent all day tightening it back up! Flip flop is a type of hub where you can have a sprocket either side. use by BMX'ers so they can flip the wheel over between events (unbolt the wheel(...

    "Cheating"

Shame I'm not bringing my bike with me to Brighton! Back on topic, at work I was told by one of the managers that saw me chaining up my bike " So why are they not classed as a scooter? And why do you not need a licence or insurance? It's not fair". Stop complaining and get on your bike she was...

Rear disc brake snapped off, hub wired through frame

Get some pictures of the part, it might be something that could be machined as a one off, if its not an off the shelf part.

    Balance wire turmoil!

It's a brand new cell, measured 4.43v out of the box, If I can discharge it to the same as the others (all sat at 3.9 at the moment and not getting any more) the pack should start to charge ok i believe.

    Balance wire turmoil!

Cheers I'll try that. Do you think that's why the bms isn't charging?

    Balance wire turmoil!

Worked fine. next problem. I've one cell that's a lot higher than the rest, by at least 2V and as such when charging, the bms sees this cell first, tops it up then stops charging the rest as it thinks its done. Any idea how I can safely discharge a 3.7v 10ah pouch cell. My imax isn't up to doing...
