I was out today on the newly converted bike, sort of a proof of concept come test ride, initial impressions are generally good.

My parcels have arrived from PSW, I've not opened them yet but they seem undamaged. They were delivered to a neighbour due to me being at work but the courier never left a notice, if my neighbour wasn't so honest I wouldn't have a clue they had been delivered.

If only there was some sort of aid available whereby you could use your thumb to proportionally supply the motor with the required voltage.

It can't be that hard. They sell off the shelf adapters, if I can't find the size I need then I do have a drill and an angle grinder...

It's not something I do all the time but I have been known to just flick through from 1 to 3 whilst using full throttle. Possibly the chain was stretched rather than actually twisted, could of happened whilst finding out it won't change from 3 to 2, or 2 to 1 whilst under load!

I fitted the hub end of March this year or around 600 miles ago and so far it's all good. I do use all of the power some of the time and occasionally will put the motor on full power in gear one and power up and over bridges or hills etc. I did notice that the indicator chain has become twisted...

BBS01 @ 36 volts is only around 60 - 80 Newtons so I should be ok, hopefully.

I went for Bafang rather than Tongsheng as I didn't like the idea of having to pedal harder to get more power, also research at the time led me to the conclusion that Bafang were stronger and more reliable.
