well if you ever get a motor problem peter can sort it if he has the parts, i will be sending in my old performance motor so keeps another bosch powerd bike from the scrap heap as just needs a bearing service and lasted me 7 years with a dongle and never had a motor problem. :p

it trys to guess the range left based on mode used and whats left in the batt so can be all over the place depending what mode you are in. with a dongle it cant compute lol i now have the kiox display so now 1-100%

yes as long as the magnet passes over the dongle it will work they put the sensors in the frame like that to stop you using these things but it is a simple fix most of the time and just move the sensor where you can mount the dongle over it.

l guess it depends on the shop. They probably fit the devices themselves

the biggest haibike dealer in the uk sells and fits dongles and honors the warranty. i took my bike to a bosch dealer today for a update and run a error check and did not tell them it had a dongle and no errors or problems update done and did not detect the dongle either lol :D

but only marginally less useful than it would be without the dongle.

...tho if you want to change power settings ect then baffang is the only option as bosch shimano Yamaha ect have locked software you can add a dongle to remove the speed limit but thats about it and wont give you any more power...
