Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

OK looks like I'm back in this thread. First things first: OP, try the bikes you're thinking of buying if possible and buy the one you like best. Don't listen to some of the info you're getting on here, make your own decision. Next, I don't know nor do I care which type of system some people...

Torque or speed sensor - preferences?

The thumb throttle on the Typhoon isn't full speed when used alone, it's designed for walking beside I think. I sometimes, when pulling away from junctions I use it as it starts the bike moving then the pedal sensor takes over. However, if you are in a low power level and are actually...

    Stealth ebike for 99p

I won't be home for a week but I'll stick one on. My spare battery has a different label. It's from a 2 litre bottle of DIet IRN BRU. As the great William Wallace once said. "They may take away our lives but they'll never take away our IRN BRU"

Torque or speed sensor - preferences?

I don't have a throttle but fully understand you. The pedal sensor on my Kudos bikes lets me climb steep hill then lets the bike take over on the flats at the top with me very slowly turning the pedals. It fair lets you get your breath back.

    Stealth ebike for 99p

An ebike shop opened in Linlithgow last year and more people in the area seem to know about electric bikes now. When I'm out on the Tourer people recognise it's an ebike. The Typhoon still catches them out, so, I bought a 2 litre bottle of IRN BRU and put the label from it round the battery...

Torque or speed sensor - preferences?

Are you being serious? My grandson and I go cycling in the Helix park in Falkirk. My wife is disabled and can't pedal a bike, so she stayed at home. I bought her a Woosh Santana CD, a bike with a throttle. She can now go cycling with us. Just so you know, the Helix is full of 10' wide cycle...

Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

The OPs post wasn't about de-restricting bikes. I'd still think he'd go faster and climb better on the Bear. P.S my top speed on the flat with the Typhoon is 35 mph without de-restricting it. ;) mind you, I'll never do it again, I was knackered.

    hi everyone

Welcome. It's a good looking bike.

Woosh Sirocco CD or Big Bear?

I don't understand this. I've never been on a big bear but I've tried my wife's Santana CD. I've got a Kudos Typhoon and I thought the big bear was similar. In any race the With me on both machines, the Typhoon will destroy the Santana. If the big bear is similar to the Typhoon it should also...

The great Scottish ebike hill climb challenge.

OK. First off, the following post must be read with a pinch of salt. After a couple of threads on here I decided a hill climb test was in order. Invites were sent out and the crowd gathered. Unlike Bristol, Falkirk council wouldn't close the road. The day came and only 2 manufacturers turned...

There's only 2 ways to settle the debate: 1; Mr KTM and Mr Oxygen need to get on non ebikes and race. The loser pays £50 to the charity of the winner's choice. 2; They both send me a bike for a month to test. ;)

Torque or speed sensor - preferences?

On the Kudos Tourer I'll be in power level 5 95% of the time. On the Typhoon I'm in level 3, 4 or 5 depending on the situation. Today I even did a few miles in level 0 on the Typhoon. I like the fact that simply turning the pedals brings in whatever power level I've chosen.

Yes, that's what I said. When you're tired it's great.
