    Wisper 905SE Sport

If there is no button for off road use and the controller is altered so the bike goes over 15mph on throttle alone then it is illegal to use on the road. And in the very unlikley event that bike is involved in a accident and the equally unlikley chance that the police check the bike you could...

Wisper battery decline - how does it work?

I think a Wisper battery will be better quality, but if it dose go wrong pop round to the shop you bought it. If a BSM battery goes wrong it is a slow boat to China. You pays your money----

    Marathon Plus puncture

I have used City Contact 700x47 and have never had a pun--ure, in about 2000 miles. The only down side to them is that they are heavy. I run them with 40psi. Andy.

Do slicks make a big difference to speed

Wider tires roll faster than narrower ones: Riders have argued for years that narrower tires – especially on the road – roll faster and are more efficient than wider ones when in fact, the opposite is true. According to Wheel Energy, the key to reducing rolling resistance is minimizing the...

Radio 4 Join the Bike Helmet Debate

    getting the right gear

The advantage of derailleur gears for me is that I can have close ratios, ok I had to buy two cassettes 12/28 and 11/28 split them and build one which is 11,12,13,14,15,18, 21. I have tripple chainrings,(28/38/48) and can peddle up to 28mph without spinning out with my 11/48 (its a 27"...

welding needed for broken back axle

Not an easy one, you have to ask yourself why it broke. The axle/spindle in my opinion will need replacing because even if it was welded it would then have to be turned to get it true and there would always be a week point.

I have Altuta under shorts which I wear under my baggy shorts, they have a sewn in pad. But don't think I will buying any more, the pad seems to get lumpy after about twenty washes. It's like riding withe a handfull of acorns down your undies.
