Battery for Devron 28120 E Bike

Just to expand on this, here's the usual contact arrangement for Phylion batteries: Flecc's post #4 suggests your bike does use the smart BMS. If you find the centre 4 pins aren't connected, you could probably use a generic battery/rack as Nealh suggests in post #6.

Battery for Devron 28120 E Bike

That sounds plausible. Someone stole it, realised it was electric and worthless without the battery and abandoned it. In that case, as Nealh points out, later versions of similar Devron bikes still use the SF-03 battery, which has been around for donkeys years. My guess - and it is only a guess...

Battery for Devron 28120 E Bike

We've found here on the forum that an e-bike without a battery and/or a charger often means it's stolen. That may be why Devron won't talk to you.

Battery for Devron 28120 E Bike

If it's Phylion (we don't know), all styles are available with Smart BMS or not. On some bikes that matters; on others those comms aren't used and the smart provision is there only for a dealer to test battery cycles/wear. We've had users here replacing Phylion batteries without the smart...

Battery for Devron 28120 E Bike

Why don't you have the battery? Do you have the charger? If so, post a picture of the charger plug. Changing to an alternative battery/rack most probably won't work if the bike is wired to use comms from a battery fitted with a smart BMS.

Battery for Devron 28120 E Bike

I'm pretty sure Devron are a Romanian company making bikes in Romania (i.e. not Italian), although IIRC Devron are part of a larger group who may be Italian. Devron as a brand are really common in many parts of Europe. From what I've seen Devron use Phylion batteries, and that looks to me like...

    New on the forum

Welcome to the forum @Laffin ebike. Three e-bikes and 2500 miles in 13 months - that's keen! What are your 2 other e-bikes, and why the need/desire to add the third?

I don't know what Fiido are playing at. Both your chain length and the way your wheel has been laced look wrong to me. Here's your wheel: Here's what's posted on Fiido's own website:

    Pedelec free whisper just introduced

I don't know - it's what they state in their prospectus. It doesn't produce, it's simply buffer storage; more being built (see their interactive map of existing and proposed sites). The Scottish rely heavily on hydo. It's not the only cluster of energy storage facilities in the UK. I'm only...

    Pedelec free whisper just introduced

I'm late to this party, but saw @soundwave's comment: Wind and Solar energy CAN and IS being stored for when the sun don't shine and the wind don't blow: 698MW of lithium stored green energy. The Portfolio | Gore Street Energy Storage Fund plc (gsenergystoragefund.com) China builds and keeps...

    Fiido D11 Folding e-bike - A sort of review

That was the specific purpose for which the bike was bought. I have other e-bikes for leisure. I've covered this elsewhere, but broadly my commute is a 2 mile cycle to station, Thameslink train into London, 2 mile cycle across London, then Greater Anglia train out to Norfolk, then a 4 mile...

    Fiido D11 Folding e-bike - A sort of review

Member @Deno at 6'3" rode his dads D21, which is the same bike but with a Torque Sensor instead of a Cadence sensor. His comments are here. I think fit is very much a personal thing. I'm 5'10" and added a riser bar to increase handlebar height and reach to suit my own fit/preference. If you...

Help! Can I ride e-bikes in heavy rain?

So would I, as other makers do on a regular seat-post clamp. I checked Fiido's website; they used to have a FAQ page which gave the "wet use" advice I mentioned above... but I see that page is now gone.

    EZEGO odd battery fault

Hi Mark The link you've given in your post says that battery has a "Smart BMS with Sleep Mode". Sleep Mode is where the battery shuts itself down after an hour or so to save energy. The usual way to wake it back up is to hold the power button down for a few seconds - sometimes up to 10 or 20...

Clear nail varnish works well. None of my own bikes have ever shown any signs of rust anywhere. I do quickly towel off the worst if I get caught out in the rain, and I do keep them inside warm and dry.

Help! Can I ride e-bikes in heavy rain?

IIRC, Fiido's general advice is similar to most: Don't use a pressure washer to clean the bike, and don't wade in water where the motor could be submerged... although the X does have that electronic keypad lock behind the seat-post which might be more susceptible to heavy rain / water ingress...

That the missing bit was in the box suggests it might be impact damage whilst in transit. That's apparently what happened with the snapped frame bike. Who was the carrier? Was there damage to the box? I know these cast Magnesium Alloy frames look good, but the added weight and these impact...

    Ebike display

The display and controller usually need to be a matched pair to work (communicate) with each other. Was it a complete kit you bought, or were you mixing components from different sources?

@martinedcense Looking through all your posts, you seem to be making a regular habit of simply cutting and pasting other members comments rather than adding any of your own, this being mine made in post #3. Reported as spamming.
