    The cable ties on the anti turn bracket do not last, unless you tightened the motor lock nut with a mallet and loctite

    The fury had a tsdz2 from china but you can buy the same kit from woosh in Southend Essex They will even fit for you Have tried/fitted many mid drive conversions if you are a cyclist that just needs a helping hand then its the tsdz2 If lazy then a bafang bbs01 is the way to go

    To be honest only done 20 odd miles ,and could only find a hd motor with a 100mm bbb First impressions are its heavy compared to a bbs02 750watt and the larger battery is also adding weight .But if you want to thrash it all day the hd appears bullet proof , The 750watt in my fs bike has been on...

    After a few years of self building and after a loss of faith in the tsdz2 motors :mad: ,that only left one option . Ordered a bbs hd for my latest fatbike went for a ride out on the farm today :rolleyes::D Not built for speed will lower the overall gearing with a 42 on the front and only a 48v...

    Fitted a mid drive conversion on a carrera fury recently a easy conversion. made a very capable all rounder Are you happy with the fury? if so you could get a mega range battery and a mid drive fitted for around £1k

    Only in recent batches it seems to be getting worse :mad:stopped fitting :eek:have gone back to Bafang Only have the chopper left and that has been the best build with a tsdz2 ,because i ordered a 120mm bb kit to go on a 100mm no chain line or pedal arm problems this time and came from china...

    That is over the max volts for a 48v tsdz2 will be a problem starts to whinge over 53v if you fully charge the battery you will get this problem very time options are adjust charger output volts or use the open source to adjust the v max

    YES a mistake the 36v is disappointing tried both if you have to use one the power loss and general ride quality is compromised over the 48v the xh 18 is ok but the vlcd 5 is better to use and has brake cut offs

    The x18 i used was a six pin but you need a 48v version own firmware 36v will not work , did not like it power levels are on a twist grip Check out the open source project that uses the bafang mini display

    Another user have has recent problems with the vlcd6 and dry joints the black wire snapped off in the display Always used the vlcd5 is it the older 5/ 8 wire or the 2020 version
