Driving in France....(with or without your bikes )

Part of the decision seems to come from an association called I-Test which managed to lobby the government. The funny bit in this story, is that the association is composed by industrial who produces ethylotest! If you speak French, you can have a loot to the source ;) Saoulez-vous citoyens ...

    Deflated ... or what?

Hi Davanti, When I did the 300 miles servicing, it was over in 15 minutes: They checked the spoke, adjusted the brakes, tidy up bit a little and I went home with the bike. Hope it helps a little bit! Goryl

    Back wheel puncture

Hello, my completely non-technical opinion is that it would be great! It would make the bike very reassuring as a new user: If you can see an obvious and safe way to completely unplug the motor then the perspective of the first puncture is far less daunting :D. Goryl

    Need some advice about Kits

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer. The scott sub looks like a very good candidate as well. I will continue doing some research and will try to arrange a trip to Winchester to test a Cytronex! I will certainly be back with more questions (hope you do not mind :D) Thanks again. Goryl

    Need some advice about Kits

Thanks, I did not realize that the definition of hybrid bike can be a bit fuzzy :D. For me it is a bike that is not as good as a road bike on the road but better than a mountain bike for this and vis versa off road :D. Let's try to forget about the term for the time being. I will be a bit more...

    Need some advice about Kits

Thanks a lot! Another question, I always ride on the road but it there are quite a few places along the way where it is in very poor condition. Would 700c tires be a problem? That the ones on the broadman bikes... Thanks, Goryl

    Need some advice about Kits

Here I am again with more questions. I am still investigating whether this would work better for me. I have selected a few kits that I could go for. I am now looking into the bikes and I have a few questions. Would anyone know a hybrid bike that is around 10kgs and on which a kit could be...

    Back wheel puncture

Hi Rotary, Just one thing to remember when you read my posts: I am a newbee when it comes to bike maintenance (even the non electric ones). Here is my list for next time it happens. It is pretty much the same as Smugler1956: 1/Remove Battery 2/Cut the small plastic pieces that holds the...

    Back wheel puncture

I am back on the road :D. Controller was perfectly fine. The good point of the story is that I do not have to be scared of getting a puncture in the middle of the road as I know how to fix it and it is actually fairly easy. I might get some of the double end tubes just in case. Thanks...

    Back wheel puncture

Hi, Thanks for all the answers and for the link for the inner tube. Unfortunately, I was outside trying to fix it. It took me quite a while at the end: I did not have the good spanner. There were multiple cuts on the inner tube because the puncture was due to a huge piece of glass that was...

Hello, I need to fix a puncture on the back wheel of my 905se. As far as I understood, it is pretty much like fixing any bike... Anything I should be aware/cautious of before I start? Thanks! Goryl

    Need some advice about Kits

If I swap bike, it is to get the stairs easier :D. From what you say, I think it would do the job... The throttle is vey useful when starting. I guess with a lighter bike that may not be the case anymore. Thanks! Goryl

    Need some advice about Kits

Thanks a lot for the advices. eddieo:I usually ride with full assist when I go to work as it is faster and I do not want to sweat too much the way. Do you think the kit would cope with 18.5 miles full assist without completely draining the battery? Greatly appreciate the help. Goryl

    Need some advice about Kits

Hello, I am looking into the possibility of changing bike. I currently have a wisper 905se which I am very happy when I cycle... My only problem is the stairs. This was not part of the equation when I originally bought the bike. I now have two floors to climb with very narrow stairs. I...
