KT with a hub-motor is ebike nirvana. Nothing beats it. It's one of the few systems that lets you choose how hard you want to pedal. Torque multiplying systems don't make sense to me.

The Suntour motor connector is completely different to a standard Chines 9 pin one. Best way forward is to buy a 9 pin motor extension lead and cut off the end with the male pins and solder all the wires to the Suntour cable.

I bought/sold one of those on ebay about 10 years ago. Good at hill climbing because of crank drive (24V ex van/lorry? starter motor), but rather top heavy because of two lead acid 12V batteries in rear box.
