E-bike recommendations for Long Covid/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome sufferer

Hi Pea92, sorry to jump in, same subject, I wanted to ask David, am I right in saying, a Wayfarer straight from the factory has a 2 stage throttle, walk along to 4mph, then if you pedal you can throttle to 15.5mph. But "full throttle legal" cuts out the pedalling bit and goes 0mph-15.5mph with...

    Pedelec Law - The Details

I've not cycled for 20 years (I'm 59 now) due to a back problem which left me with a weak left leg. My wife wanted a bike to learn to ride (don't ask :)) wanted electric to cycle with her friend. Couldn't find one, Covid etc and not being able to shop, so we ordered a cheap Chinese fold-up...

Wisper Spare battery when buying a bike or wait?

Hi Andy Thanks for that. Yes I imagined alternating like that, but for now I think I'll wait to get a second battery and see how my usage goes. Cheers.

Wisper Spare battery when buying a bike or wait?

Thanks, yes, that's what I thought. I would presume batteries would still be available for a particular model 2 or 3 years down the line.

Wisper Spare battery when buying a bike or wait?

Hi, I'm on the waiting list for a Wisper Wayfarer. I've chosen the smaller of the 2 batteries as it is a 60th birthday present from my wife and kept the cost down, I'll buy a spare battery myself. Is it better to buy a spare battery now and store it? (I'm guessing unused batteries don't store...

    Upgrade from a Fiido D4S

It looks like the Wisper Wayfarer has both those throttles. An "easy start" throttle button and a throttle to use whilst pedalling.

    Upgrade from a Fiido D4S

Thanks vfr400 for your detailed reply. Yes, I think the 6km/h kick start is preferred for me but I may have to do without it with the Woosh Gran Camino (throttle after a revolution of crank). I can maintain a bike myself, that's why I'd prefer Woosh as they use standard parts.

    Upgrade from a Fiido D4S

Hi, I've had a Fiido D4S for a few months now, my wife wanted it to learn to ride a bike, foldaway, put in car etc. I used to cycle a lot before illness at 40 left me with a weak leg and stuff, I'm 59 now. After discovering this electric bike, wow, it's great for me to get back into cycling...

    Swytch on the beach

I'd love to ride by the sea if ever I got the chance. Could you give the bike a good spray all over of a water repellent before you headed out, would that help?

Help! I'd like to get Fiido D4S

I have just managed to buy a Fiido D4S. Had a shortlist of which bike to buy, headed by a Woosh Rambletta but unfortunately with a backlog of orders it would probably be August for that one. I have saved over £300 by getting the Fiido and it is impressive. I cycled a lot in my teens, 20's to...
