    Great advice, yes 0v red / black. I’ll try your advice but will the multipin from main controller to handlebar control carry 5v on the red/black wires? cheers Martin

    It fell over a few hours earlier, but worked fine afterwards. the following day it didn’t work. there wasn’t even any resistive feel to back-pedalling which would normally brake & recharge the battery. hope this helps ? kind regards martin
