New channel4 series Stephen Fry, Gadget man.

With a very non compliant number plate  Its had its chance... I won't bother with any more episodes (and I thoroughly dislike the over paid Mr J.Woss for his past sins)

BEBA UK Survey Results: Executive Summary

Or maybe due to foot/ankle/leg/knee/hip and other health issues the rotational movement of peddling can only be done on a very occasional basis.. Not everyone is as able bodied as others, and we wouldn't want to confine them to mobility scooters.. would we  Edit: IMHO The answer has...

    Grease.

Hi Neptune For most normal general purpose jobs involving bearings / gears I use Castrol LM grease, it's lithium based high melting point and a 500g pot should last years and years and years, lol (I think it was originally designed for use in wheel bearings) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Chain cleaning tool issues

With the stand down and the bike away from a wall (or a settee lol), just tip the bike towards the stand and that should raise the rear wheel off of the ground with the wall / settee stopping the bike from falling over. Then just rotate the chain

    DNP Epoch Freewheels..and gearing question

I'd say (only my own personal musings with no disrespect to any one involved in the creation of such a device... god bless them) From long term stresses and development costs its not the better option.. Even though we have discussed changing the chain wheel option (some like it and some don't)...

    Just starting another build...Question

Exactly my point... morphix saw it as a good piece of engineering, I called it as I saw it. Bit like Marmite... some think its great, some don't But no matter if you like Marmite or not, the right to express ones feelings is paramount I've said mine and others have said theirs, looking back...

    DNP Epoch Freewheels..and gearing question

Divide the Chain wheel by the cog = x Times x by the 13t to see what the equivalent chain wheel would be needed (or by the 14t) There may not be an exact size chain wheel available so go for the 'as near as dam it size' So 54T with 11 = 4.9 13t equivalent = 13x4.9 = 63.8 14t equivalent =...

Hi Scimitar If you don't like my comments on this matter, then I do of course apologise for offending your sensitivities.... But why you felt the need to stick your 2 euros in is a bit of a puzzle.... I normally refuse to enter into a battle of wits with an unarmed man so will do you a favour...
