I frequently go on rides of 25 miles plus which i would struggle to do on a conventional bike. I can now ride up steep hills which i would have drowned in sweat on previously. To me the point of an ebike is i can go further and more importantly get back again !!

So how do they get around selling them if they are illegal,,do they have the good old de-restrict button ? Optibike supposedly re program theirs to your requirements.... I am sure most people would go for fast bikes like these even if it its just to get out in the country and put your foot...

To me it wouldn't matter if ebikes were front, middle or rear powered...the ability to easily maintain 15-20 mph,a range from 50 miles upwards for the battery,battery life of 3-5 years and battery price upto £300....hmmmmmm it looks like the biggest bugbear (is that spelt correctly?) is the good...

Personally i wear a helmet, but i don't think it should be made compulsory. As regards injuries caused by wearing a helmet in an accident maybe if more emphasis was put on gettiing a correct fit instead of plonk it on your head and it seems ok scenario,then there may be less injuries. After...

i think everyones missing the point...,if you look at the first of the more pictures link thats some stand....blonde hair .....everytime you stop she will be there to hold the bike.....now its gotto we worth the money ! :D

will you see them in daylight...i think not.....debatable whether they would be seen at night as well,,,,,just a gimmick for kids bikes....
