News: 50Cycles launch the Kalkhoff Agattu Pedelec

Hi Flecc/Coops, If either of you really wants to buy one but are worried about space, you are very welcome to keep it in my garage. :D Cheers, Django PS: Good price as well. £1321 (equivalent) is the cheapest I could find in Germany.

    And another thing.. batteries

Not the daily, but the twice weekly does. I use the battery quite heavily - full throttle most of the time. Cheers, Django

    And another thing.. batteries

Hi, I have a Torq with a Li Ion battery which is now almost 10 months old and it is still going strong. Range has dropped by 3 or 4 miles, but I still get my daily 8 or 9 miles in and twice weekly 15 miles with a top up on the charger each night. I will be disappointed if it does not last...

Urgent request for Li-ion charger tonight

Hi Mil, At the risk of stating the obvious, is a taxi not the best option for one day? Django

    Hello! ..and what to select

Hi, I have ridden a Forza and own a Torq. My (personal and subjective) recommendation is the Torq for the following reasons: Firstly, without the sprung forks the Torq gives you more feel through the handlebars. I want to sense the road surface, to interact with it, rather than just glide...

    Huge problem help!

Hang on a minute, the order went in last Sunday! That's four working days ago! Obviously the lack of contact is not ideal but let's not be too hasty. Give it fourteen days (ten more) then send a formal letter demanding the product within seven days or your money back otherwise further action...

    5 Star After Sales

I second (third) that. I took my Torq in last week and they did a very thorough job sorting one or two niggles. I also was invited to take out a couple of other bikes for a test ride (including the Forza) which although interesting only served to confirm my decision to buy the Torq. I love this...

Three Up with a Torq and Trailer

Hi, Well I keep reading about the Torq and its lack of torque, and I have no reason to doubt those who find this a problem as it is an objective fact that the Torq is substantially over-geared. Nevertheless, these things are all relative. I have no problem sailing this trailer and my two sons...

The T bike, Torq Radical project

There it is, from February. I knew that the brilliant wheel reversal idea didn't come as a complete surprise to me, but I have only just remembered why! See http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/electric-bicycles/338-marathon-plus-tyres-torq.html?highlight=tyres+change#post4211 Cheers, Django

    Grandma keeps tabs on Grandad.

With a daft job and two children aged one and four, I don't have the time or energy to do anything that would need watching. It reminds me of the old joke: Man 1: "My wife drives me to drink" Man 2: "You're lucky, mine makes me walk" Django

    Cyclist age

I promise you that this is true. Traversing up a local hill on my Torq I actually had someone lean out of their car and call me a "lazy git". Out of a car!*!?!! I ask you, how does that work? Django
