Strictly true, though am I not right in thinking that if the form of illegality could be argued to have contributed to the accident, such as in the case of excessive speed, then it makes negligence a lot easier to prove to the satisfaction of a civil court?

The 100% positive feedback from a long standing member convinces me that the seller is genuine. Not my sort of bike, being a Panasonic system, but if I were interested I would ask one or two questions regarding where it came from and seek to trust him. A serial number and a call to 50cycles...

Yes, weigh up the risk and go from there. I have used an Axa Defender on my Torq and I love it. There is an optional cable to secure it to a railing or similar and it has served me well. If I do intend to leave my bike somewhere really risky or for a long time, I secure it with my motorcycle...

Ex semi-pro jazz musician here so, yes, I love jazz music. Lots of good stuff on the UK scene at the moment. Check out plyers like Alan Barnes, Bruce Adams, Don Weller, John Scofield, Jim Mullen, Claire Martin, etc My all time favourite is Django Reinhardt (hence my screen name).

I had the same problem when I lived by the coast. Easily solved though. I used to ride 50 miles inland then start from there instead. :D

Fantastic, Nick! This is a Norwegian make and sells pretty well there, though it was a Danish concept originally. I also saw one of these on my last visit to a friend in Copenhagen (great city to be in - lots of top class jazz!).
