    hydraulic break

Many bicycle brake reservoirs don't have the expanding rubber bellows in them that would be there to deal with the expansion of the oil with heat. OP has filled his reservoir up to the top. He just needs to let some oil out -nothing else.

    Battery Fires

If that data were from 2024, it would disprove your previous data. 54/1898 is roughly 1 in 40, I showed above that the ratio of electric to ICE cars on the road today is 5/195, which is exactly the same ratio, so the data you've just provided proves that fires would be equally likely with either...

shengyi-x2 as a rear carrier Motor;-)

That's a neat installation. Yes, I did mine in 2011, before crank drive kits were available. I didn't have access to any machine shop, so I did mine out of readily available bits of bike. I didn't know that there were free-wheeling cranks then. It worked quite well, and it had the advantage of...

    hydraulic break

I know what the problem is because I had it once. You have too much oil in the reservoir. When you appy the brake, the heat makes the oil expand and it holds the brake on until it cools down, which doesn't take long. Easiest way to sort it is to take whatever tool you need to open the filler...

    Yose power

All standard, well-proven and reliable Chinese stuff - same as most kits but a bit cheaper. As he said, it's a shame their controller is a bit crappy regarding the power algorithms, but most cheap kits are like that anyway, though Yose didn't used to be like that. I don't know why they changed...

    Battery Fires

There's something wrong with your data because it's not plausible, If you look at all the causes of fires in cars, most of them are equally likely to happen in both types of vehicle, like wiring faults, arson, accident damage, etc. The causes specifi to the type of vehicle are small compared...

Prices of the electricity we use to charge

Again, you have to take into account how many tumble driers there are and how many ebikes there are. Even if the chance of a tumble drier catching fire is a lot less than an ebike, there are many times more of them, so if you look at any house burning, it's more likely to be caused by a tumble...

    Battery Fires

Those sources you quoted are very misleading with what they tell you. It's the same sort of argument as 40% of accidents involve drunk drivers and 60% don't, therefore you're less likely to have an accident if you're drunk. Clearly that's absurd because it doesn't take account of the ratio of...

    Battery Fires

Two people died because of that fire. I don't think it was because somebody hated EVs. That accident showed up an issue that if an EV has a bump in an enclosed carpark, the result can be devastating. As well as the lives lost and injuries, the damage was massive. If you see a car fire, it's a...

    warning about ENERPROF.DE / ENERDAN battery&accesories

You're nuts. How can measuring the voltage void the warranty? Your bike does it all the time! I doubt that there's anything wrong with Enerprof nor their customer service. I can imagine that they got fed up with you very quickly, not listening to anything and blaming everybody but yourself. I...

    warning about ENERPROF.DE / ENERDAN battery&accesories

It's not outside your knowledge, it's inside no because I just told you how to do it. You need to stay off that AI and listen to what people, who know about this stuff, are telling you. I've been fixing batteries and solving battery problems on this forum for nearly 15 years. I'm not some erk on...

    warning about ENERPROF.DE / ENERDAN battery&accesories

You put your probes onto the two outer pins of the charger connector. The middle one isn't connected. It doesn't matter which way round. Set your meter to 200v DC. If you don't know how to do that, show a picture of it. When you've done that, so the same to the battery - stick your probes into...

    Nice project if anyone's interested

I saw this on ES. It's an A2B Metro that were/are pretty good bikes, except they were locked by CANbus comms, so very difficult to repair. This one has already been modified with an external KT controller (25A), and presumably something has been done with the battery. It's not clear whether it...

    warning about ENERPROF.DE / ENERDAN battery&accesories

They're saying that ranting doesn't help anyone. Go away and think about what help you need to solve your problem, then come back nice and calm after 45 minutes and explain what help you need. You still haven't provided any measurement results here. Your whole rant is based on your own...

    Help! Sudoo or soodoo

There There are choices that you have to make. We don't know what you want. They all work the same, but are different sizes, they give different amounts of power and have different connector options and types. If you're happy with the power from your OEM one, this one gives the same power...

    Help! Sudoo or soodoo

I used to order from PSWPower a lot. Many of us did for a while. They're pretty good. Now everybody tends to go with Yose because they're cheap, quick and good customer service. If only their kits had KT controllers!
