    806 classic suspension forks

Hi Donk, I am afraid we dont have a suspension upgrade for the 806, the best bet would be to visit a local bike shop and ask there. All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Thanks Jerry, LOVE the folder conversions! Good point re the two speeds, the problem is we believe the motor on most electric bikes if not in the hub should be in the rear hub under the rider's weight. We considered putting two drive chains on. However I think for normal city riding we have...

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Thanks Artstu! Good idea re the 11Ah in one, we will look into the possibility. Re the name, it is so tough to find something new, originally it was going to be Falcon, to go with the FreeGo Eagle, Wren, Hawk, and Martin. However the Falcon has been done to death. We did search Raptor and...

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Hi Geebee and Killjoy, the battery is designed to be very easy to unclip from the bike, so we do not recommend leaving it on the bike for more than a few minutes whilst the rider is away from it, unless of course the bike is left in a secure location. We made the removal and installation of the...

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Hi Jason, thanks for your comment, the bike is certainly designed for the city, although the motor does help massively when negotiating a 15%er! The only real restriction is that the bike is not meant for trail riding. All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Thanks Tom, We do understand that it will not be to everyones taste. I feel the electric bike market has become very sophisticated over the last few years, especially in Europe. One of the joys of having such a large and sophisticated market is that there is room for the more niche bicycle...

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Hi Neptune, it was a mounting issue. V brakes need mounting posts and calliper brakes don't. We considered using V brakes but could not find 100% evidence to suggest calliper brakes were less effective. I weigh nearly 16 stone and can lock up the rear wheel relatively easily. All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Thanks for your message Jonah, we are very pleased with the bike and everyone who has tested it loves it. The battery is Samsung celled and made by one of, if not the best battery packer in Asia. I agree, the batteries are not the cheapest available, but they are excellent quality. All the best...

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Hi Spikey, sorry, I didn't mean for my post to read that way. I was delighted that you made such a valid comment. The bikes are heavier than a standard pedal bike but still up to 12kg lighter than many standard electric bikes, including ours! That was our goal. All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

That's one of the reasons we have built the bike Spikey, it can easily be ridden as a non electric, although as you say, it's a little heavy. The batteries weigh in at under 2kg so even with the range extender battery it's not too much of a lump! All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Thanks Eddie, we are excited about finally getting the bike to market, we have been working on it for more than a year. Mudguards can be fitted, we have special kits ready to go straight on. All the best David

Sorry Spikey, I forgot to say that the fixings for the second battery are already on the frame. All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Hi Spikey, thanks for your kind remarks! The standard bike will cost £799 or £200 deposit and 24 x £24.96, so for those living in London and using an Oyster card, use the bike once a week instead of using public transpoprt and it is self financing! With a range extender the bike costs £999.00...

Thanks Dues, I love my sample bike, it's one of my favourites. It feels just like a normal bike and even rides well with the power off. All the best David

The Raptor by FWG coming soon! 14Kg inc battery.

Hi All, I felt some of you may be interested in something a little different. Not a bike for those with epic journeys in mind, but a quick, nimble machine ideal for shorter journeys especially in the cities. Designed to be seriously minimalist, the Raptor is perfect for commuting. Very light...
