Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

In a CD motor, the gearbox weighs more than the electric motor. If you can design a better, lighter 100:1 gearbox, now is your chance to make zillions.

that seems to confirm that the pack is out of balance. After 23 miles, the voltage should be roughly about 35V. You need to leave the charger on for (42-33.3) * 6.5 /10 = 5 hours and 45 minutes. The charger should go green after about 5h 30 minutes and leave it on for another 15 minutes.

I reckon my Rio FB could have a decent mountain climbing race against the CX. I may have to replace the 17A controller with a 20A or 25A one. EddiePJ?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

it's not so straightforward. I think sometime ago, the coalition government tried to cut child benefit to EU migrants where their children (and their mothers) have gone back to their country of origin. The fathers took the UK government to the ECJ and won on the basis that UK children can...

I think what they do is to get to a set RPM (20,30,40,50,60,70 etc) then push hard on the pedals to milk the motor. As the motor can't go over 80NM, the torque at those RPMs is a little under 80NM, so 73NM is credible until the back EMF begins to bite back beyond 70rpm. For example at 110RPM...

I know you don't. The Rio has better battery, better motor, better suspension fork, better brakes, better crankset - I know you don't need them to go everyday on your short commutes but there will be weekends where better motor, battery, suspension and crankset pay for themselves. battery: 9AH...

Most powerful eBike for long uphill journeys?

    let's take a closer look at the CX plot: The formula is P = Torque * rotational speed at 20 rpm, rotational speed = 20*2*3.14/60 =2.1 rad/s, P = 150W Torque = 150W / 2.1rad/s = 72NM at 50rpm, rotational speed = 5.25rad/s, P = 380W Torque = 380W/5.25rad/s = 73NM at 70rpm, rotational speed...

some journalists will surely ask under FOI for the number of claimants and the disbursed amounts. I think the gray area is the 23 flats where the police could not find anyone to contact and no recognisable human remain.

I think they are output (mechanical) power. The CX plot peaks at 580W, at 80%-85% efficiency, 683W-725W input, comparable to a 36V 20A controller.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the rules are complex, you cannot enforce them without risk of challenge on the ground of HR and other treaties' obligations for treating EU citizens like second class. Overweight motorcyclists want an ebike.

Gubbins, the Zephyr 2017 has a pretty good 100mm Suntour XCM fork, he only needs to change the rear coil spring suspension to an air suspension. It has standard fixing. Change also the stem and handlebars to something better, they don't cost much. The rest of the bike is pretty OK. The motor...

Volusia, only if it's not too much trouble. You only need a few points, like when the number of miles and voltage when first bar is gone, and again when the second bar is gone. As long as you have 36.5V-37V or more when you start your journey home, you should have enough battery to get home...
