    Third ebike?

Its the extra weight of ebikes rather than the path surface that makes them difficult to handle on rough terrain. I did not anticipate this which is why the Toba was wrong. Ref...

    Looking for first e-bike MTB

Same use I'm looking for. Crossbar is useful for D-locks.

Beat Bike Toba Crossbar (Bike Log)

I've got the Toba going again. Performance seems like it is on economy all the time.

Beat Bike Toba Crossbar (Bike Log)

I had unwanted trouble with the Toba as the new wheel had to come from Germany and it took a month. Then it wasn't fixed properly, another week and stranded miles from nowhere. China design is a plus sign though.

    Third ebike?

My current Toba is working OK for short trips, but I have never trusted it for long trips after a computer power failure miles from home. With winter approaching, I may wait a bit. PS: 50% off road use, good quality paths, but loose gravel. Roads are even worse though.

    Third ebike?

On the shortlist. A bit worried about 700 wheels as the roads/paths found not be really good enough for my Toba. No road surface accidents, but one 20 mph blow out and another tricky situation where I got off and walked downhill. Cyclomatic with 26" wheels felt much safer and was a better ride...

    Third ebike?

I'm willing to pay more for a good bike with service availability. Maybe £2500 if its not so heavy and can pedal OK when 15 mph is reached. Derailleur as I want to be able to get the wheel off easily when puncturing a long way from home. I might be cautious of what type of brakes as well. I need...

UK petition to raise cut-off limit

I would like the limit increased to 18 mph and the speed limit on paths set at 15 mph. I rarely use my brakes in small town traffic. Need them when it gets busier in bigger towns and on paths at weekends.

    Third ebike?

I'm thinking about a new ebike, more than just functional. Cyclomatic was a much better ride than the Toba. Bike to be used for bulky shopping, up to 30 miles partly off road treks, many shorter journeys, frequently + 15 miles though. Toba good in towns because of the hub gears, awful on...

PS: It is working (not very well) today. I'm thinking about a new ebike, more than just functional. Cyclomatic was a much better ride than the Toba. Bike to be used for bulky shopping, up to 30 miles partly off road treks, many shorter journeys, frequently + 15 miles though. Toba good in...

Thanks. What was the cost approx please? I don't think I have the physical capacity to do the work with just one useful hand?

    Woosh Krieger Review

I have thought of a conversion, but I haven't got a base bike of suitable quality. Toba isn't quite there. My age and reduced capacity means I want to do easy fixes on the trail. I prefer derailleur when changing wheels. Toba has resistance when cycling without motor. Do all bikes have this ...

    Woosh Krieger Review

After a poor experience with my purchase of a Toba bike, the Kreiger has come back in contention as a replacement.

What did they do? Electric drive train breakdown after climbing in low gear. 2600 miles. It needs a repair which I cannot do myself. I don't really like the bike.

Yellow dots lined up perfectly. To check cables, plastic gear lever covering is cracked (impact damage) but the fault occurred before this.

I am 67 now and an ebike was not before time (65). Still thought of as a good buy but the wrong bike.

I think 26" wheels with thick tyres are needed with these heavy bikes, MTB style.

Over two thousand miles and the electrics have been good, not so the hub gears which slip. Ibera handlebar bag sags now, not good enough for the heavy weight of a camera.
