This morning I sold my Ezee Sprint GTS HR to a very nice gentleman from Milton Keynes.
(Bankie, I hope you enjoy it, the power, the range and the quality - good luck with it and thanks for a straightforward sale)
I have enjoyed my brief (18 month) experience with power assisted cycles...
With some regret I have decided to offer my Ezee Sprint GTS for sale
Bought Feb 2010 new from OnBike for £1900 - remainder of 2 year warranty on bike & LiFePO4 battery will transfer
For sale at £900 - PHOTOs HERE
Hi Spec, high performance, long range & powerful bike - the bike and the...
Not that I`m a big fan of the cycle to work scheme following the tightening of guidance half way through my experience, but this made me laugh....

At 24 - 30 seconds - deffo an e-bike on throttle!!!
Not suitable for E-Bikes, but I know many on here have unassisted bikes too..
Locks to roof and locks bike in place
Easy to fit and use if you can lift your bike and reach your car roof!
I`m so short I dropped the bike the second time I used it and fell over backwards - needless to say...
First - I have tried the search function, but didnt get much response ref the use of dry lube on chains.
From what I can see there appear to be "dry" chain lube options which claim to attract less dirt. One recommended alot by motorcyclists is Wurth dry chain lube, and wiggle appear to have a...
First, thanks to Vikki and Mussels for posting up their more typical data in a previous thread. It was seeing the results Mussels had uploaded onto "SportyPal" which prompted me to instal that surprisingly good little free app for my phone and gather some more data myself.
Fast run to...
you think about journeys in terms of the Watt Hours they would need
your evenings are punctuated by visits to the shed to check on charging batteries
you carry three different methods to repair a puncture with you and pray you never have to use any of them - ever!
- what are your...
….. I`d write poems (obvious really!)
And today I`d write a poem about my ride into work which would include some of the following sort of stuff:-
06:30 Fresh clean cool air
Mist on the horizon, and hanging above the river
Bright sunlight just beginning to bring some warmth
First - apologies if this has been extensively debated before. I have tried using search, but searching on "first+aid" returns nothing, while "first aid" returns thousands of posts with either the word first in them, or the word aid, so I probably need a tutorial on using the search function a...
I am determined to bring at least one original idea to this forum which hasn't already been debated and discarded!
So here it is - I hope - tapered straight inner tubes.
I may even ring Drogons Den and the patent office!
The concept would be to make inner tubes which do not form a...
Like it says in the title
Saw this on evilbay.
I seem to recall a post stating that modern batteries with a decent BMS would adjust themselves to the charger used (or did I imagine that?).
So is it worth a try, or would I be stupid risking my expensive batteries with a cheap charger...
I joined this forum with two purposes in mind – first to ask questions and learn from others experience; secondly to share some of my experiences where I feel they may be useful to others.
This post falls into the later category for anyone interested in how one person with quite...
Sorting out my kit list and need to get panniers
Looking to buy these
Ortlieb Back Roller Classic Panniers Only £93.15
They come as a pair, but I really only need one as I`m thinking of a bikebin permenantly fixed on the other side.
Anyone want to go halves on a set?
To date, my most expensive kit purchases have been to support my Kayaking kit addiction, new boats, drysuits, paddles, helmets, buoyancy aids etc etc – very few purchases have been below £100 and I have a good relationship with my two local shops and a number of on line retailers.
So, I think I`d like to cycle to work – I`m reasonably fit (can run 10k comfortably in under an hour) and reasonably happy being out in all weathers (I also whitewater kayak all through the winter!)
But, the office is 20 miles away, and the routes which avoid main roads and dual carriageways...
