    BMS connector wiring

Follow up on this. I bought the cable from Dillenger and it worked perfectly and solved my problem. The cable somehow got compromised in a rain storm. These connectors look very waterproof, but obviously not. Thanks for the help.

    BMS connector wiring

Hi, I installed a motor and battery from bms battery. I have a Q100C with this battery and controller: https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-battery/783-36v145ah-case-08-bottle-panasonic-battery-pack-battery.html I need to get a new cable from that kit. It connects the LCD, throttle, brakes to the...

Q100C with different batteries on same controller

d8veh, do you know if the Q100H from BMS has a freewheel body like the Q100C does? I know you said 8 speed was the practical maximum on the Q100H and that's ok, but do you know if it's the same freewheel hub as the Q100C? thanks

Q100C with different batteries on same controller

dev8h, Finally getting back to this. If I go with Q100H here: https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-kit/633-q100h-36v350w-rear-e-bike-motor-wheel-ebike-kit.html and the battery: https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-battery/679-36v125ah-bottle-09-e-bike-battery-pack-battery.html#/137-color-black is there...

Q100C with different batteries on same controller

Ok thanks. It's not that I really 9 speed, it's just that's what I have and really don't want to go buy more stuff for the build. I just need to make a decision about redundancy vs more performance.

Q100C with different batteries on same controller

Another question: Is it worth using the Q100H with this battery: https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-battery/675-36v116ah-bottle-ebike-panasonic-battery-battery.html or with the Q100C perform the same with that battery/controller combo? thanks

Q100C with different batteries on same controller

Thanks d8veh. I was trying to staying with the same battery foot print as my other build so that the batteries would be swappable between bikes. If I used the S12S controller with the 36V 15 amp continuous battery and the Q100C would I see improvements in performance over the S06S with the 10...

Q100C with different batteries on same controller

Hi, I posted here about a year or so ago about a build I was doing on my wife's bike. At the time I got the Q100C kit from BMSbattery. It seems to be no longer available as a full kit, but essentially it was the Q100C with a 10Ah bottle battery like this one...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

Another update. I now have things working as I expected. I had a bad connection on one of the hall sensor wires from the motor. For anyone interested, it was a direct color match wiring of the hall sensor connections. The white wire is not connected. I found a reference in another thread...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

I went ahead and purchased the S06S and fitted it today. I hooked it up based on the diagram as best I could. I did not find anything on how the hall sensor wires should be connected, so I hooked them up matching color from the motor to the 6 input plug on the controller. There is an extra...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

By orientation, do you mean the poles? I was careful to mark which end of the magnet was the exposed side while in the ring. Then, when I glued them on, I kept that orientation the same. I did assume that all the poles faced the same way. The one thing which is slightly off is how many degrees...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

Again, thanks for the information. I did copy the magnets as closely as I could. The gap is very small, almost touching. But, I will say it's not perfect. They are not exactly spaced evenly as this was not possible due to the bolts holding the small ring on. Eventually, I'll get a ring with...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

Another update and a few questions: I glued the magnets to the small ring and now PAS kind of works. But, it's very intermittent to the point of not being usable. I have the magnets lined up with the sensor fairly well. I maintained the original spacing of the original ring pretty closely...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

I have now found the diagrams. Thanks. Sure wish I would have taken a picture of what I did before I buttoned it all up. I still think I have it correct. Next step is to try gluing the magnets on my small ring. I may need to get a new ring of magnets in the end. BTW, if you get this hub...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

This is the LCD I have, I think as it's not actually specified in the parts list. But from looking at it, I'm pretty sure this is it: http://www.bmsbattery.com/controller/548-s-led770-e-bike-led-meter.html this is my conversion kit...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

Another update and a few questions. This has been a slow process because I didn't want to add all the components until I had the correct charger from BMS. They did finally send the correct charger and it seems to be working. I dished the rear wheel and added the necessary spacers to get my 9spd...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

I have received this kit and have a few questions and problems. First problem is they sent me the wrong charger. They sent the european spec and I'm in the US. They asked if I could solder 2 points together inside the controller and then get my own power cord. Haven't tried this yet. The...

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

Ok, another quesiton: Does front hub versus rear hub make a big difference in how the bike feels and responds. Given that everything else is the same in the setup (motor power, battery, controller, etc) thanks

    BMS Q100C 36V350W conversion kit

One more question: I asked BMS if this hub was compatible with a shimano 9 speed freehub & cassette. They said yes, but given that most hubs are not, does anyone have specific knowledge of this hub? thanks, chris
