As a sixty year old engineer i agree with tommie and d8veh use Light gear oil, Engine oil or the legendary 3 in 1, I have been swayed and bought dry lube and wet lube etc etc and I can see no benefit to either one..... just sayin'

I tried one , or one very similar, at the bike show last Autumn, the 36volt version i think, I thought it rode very well i will definitely be interested in one, when they have ironed out all the little niggles.

15 mph on the roads and on cycle paths is plenty, too many folk on cycle paths with headphones on, they cannot see or hear you approaching even with a loud bell, I have to resort to shouting. slowly does it :)
