Panda Mid Drive, seems under powered

It doesn't sound like your experience is at all representative of what you should expect of a mid-drive kit. My Bafang trumps anything else I've tried - and I've tried more than a few mid-drives from a number of different manufacturers! I guess your best choice is to seek advice/help from the...

I don't think it says it's made by Bafang anywhere? Maybe the photos are for illustration purposes only and not the exact item?....I really don't know I'm afraid. If you do work out a fix for that running fault I'd love to know about it.

The 5th picture on the above link is not a BBS01 motor made by Bafang either.

Not sure which 'Panda' you're looking at/bought from, but the one I just found on Google clearly shows M-Drive which shows photos of a branded Yoch motor. They certainly do looks remarkably like the Bafang BBS01/B motor to the untrained eye though.

It doesn't sound like it was the complete user manual then. Makes it more fun if you have to guess certain parts I guess! That said, it's fair to say that many Chinglish user manuals need a bit of interpretation.

Struck me that the proof reading quality control is perhaps comparable to the quality control of the motor build itself? It's a crying shame about support too, it gives a bad reflection on other more reputable manufacturers/companies and the industry as a whole. The lessons learned here are...

Here you go, excuse the tea stain. May help you with some settings but not necessarily resolve the underlying issue. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

Panda Mid Drive, seems under powered

Hi Billym, I had what sounds like exactly the same issue with a 'Yoch' 36V 250W motor, that I believe is made by the same company that make the M-Drive for Panda out in China. A repeated clunky thud noise emitted from the motor when trying to run on PAS or throttle, repeated judders and...

I don't think Alfine go down as small as 16T, not sure though?..but the nexus fit fine. I replaced one (Robin's) the other day, about £9 from Rayments. I invert on his on one for better chain line so you'll have to see which way best suits your chain line. Piece easy you fit. Got an 18T here if...
