I've just finished fitting a 750W BBS02 to my mountain bike but when I tried it for the first time yesterday the pedal assist was next to none existant. When I start pedalling there is a massive push from the motor which nearly flips the bike but then it settles almost immediately to about 120W...

I have just fitted a new BBS02 motor to my mtb but it seems to have a lot of motor drag when pedalling without the battery connected and can't see it being much fun if I ever let the battery run out. Can somebody please tell me if this is normal as this is my first ebike and I don't know...
