Is there any way to fit a display on Carrera Crosscity?

Interference? Would it help to put that small magnet in the front. . The motor is in the back, I think.. isn't it?

Is there any way to fit a display on Carrera Crosscity?

Thank you. :) . May I ask, do you think the battery on this bike can be replaced down the line? Say may be after two years? I might pass it on I think.

Is there any way to fit a display on Carrera Crosscity?

Right beside the bike was a Crossfire which had a nice display for everything. . Come to think of it, any bike computer might just do it. It will have an odometer, speed and everything. Hmm. Now I feel embarrassed now.

Is there any way to fit a display on Carrera Crosscity?

My budget has been drastically reduced to £500. After extensive research and concluding that I am a noob , don't have much time to tinker with the bike all the time :( and wanting a foldable due to lack of space, I have decided to go for Carrera Crosscity Electric Bike. It's an 8 mile...

Do retailers never flush out the 2016 or 2017 models? :p

New Bosch motors + better battery integration

Looks smart. . I am new to these product release cycles. May I ask, what sort of timeline it usually takes OEMs to introduce the new systems and for the older systems to go down in price? (Like for example it's usually two to three months after a new release to buy a generation...

Longevity of electric bikes in general - A bit sceptical.

Jealous. . Oh, how I wish to just sod off , take the bike and go around the world... probably with "Imagine..." on full blast. . Can't wait to do something else other than what I am doing at the moment. Huh. :(

Longevity of electric bikes in general - A bit sceptical.

Interesting you suggest Chinese and the Japanese over European ones. . Bafang, Panasonic, Yamaha, Bosch, Shimano... . Time and time again, I read Bosch and Shimano are the most reliable of the bunch. Then again, where I read them are some questionable dubious blogs.

Longevity of electric bikes in general - A bit sceptical.

I have tried to skim through it, can't seem to find much about commuters. Do you think commuting everyday around 12-14 miles (30 miles round trip) each way will put same kind of pressure on the system as emtbs does?

Interesting. Did you service through Bosch? What kind of costs we are talking about here may i ask?

Longevity of electric bikes in general - A bit sceptical.

Apologies if this has been discussed to bore already.  . I am trying to get a perspective in terms of life of the bike in general. I mean, I have seen bikes handed to the next generation and it just keeps on going. Probably a bit of servicing here and there on the mechanical...

Help me find my right mechanical partner please ;)

Interesting suggestion. . Is that not the kind of lifespan people are usually after form ebikes? Or is it a wishful thinking?

Help me find my right mechanical partner please ;)

I think you have a point there. :( . I have been at it for good few weeks now.

Help me find my right mechanical partner please ;)

Okay, the parameters first. I am looking to ride 12 miles each way. 6 days. That's easily 150 miles a week including shopping/leisure trips. I have decided to go with a reliable crank driven engine. (The decision could be reversed if the grandees/gurus here feel like that's the worst they can...

Looking for a lightweight folding e-bike?

Hi :) I have been looking at this bike as an option among others. Frankly, the 6.8Ah Battery  is a bit off putting. . May I ask, how is this bike holding up for you? I am looking to commute 14 miles each way, "stowing" it away under a desk and don't have to worry about security. ...

    Cube vs Wisper SE

As a manufacturer, is mid drives price/control on design part of the equation that led to that decision? . When it comes to usability and safety from the consumer POV, which would be rather nice to have, may I ask? Hub gears vs hub motor? . I have to confess, I have an irrational fear of...

Is it the one on the picture? May i ask is it the touring version with derailleur?

    Cube vs Wisper SE

Now that is definitely interesting. :) I will have to do more reading on that in some dubious blogs to quench my curiosity. :p
