I don't have the wheel (and the motor) mounted at the moment, but it would seem as if the pswpower KT 17A sine wave controller really drives the motor in a different way. The original (KT square wave) power controller induces somewhat of a coarse noise while the more advanced controller gets...

Today I took delivery of https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Waterproof-Motor-Cable-Motor-Wire-Motor-Connector/32816702314.html ("Waterproof Motor Cable Motor Wire Motor Connector"). So far, this seems to be a good way to wire up a separate chain of control to the motor - much cruder connectors...

how long does it take from ordering a battery softpack to delivery from enerprof de

There's exactly one consistently unfortunate thing about the enerprof.de offering: It takes a while to arrive. They really build all packs to order, to minimize capital locked up in cells and to minimize risk of not selling. Keep in mind that enerprof is also a growing and learning company...

I am very, very happy with the range I get out of 2 kg of battery. Now, that statement above doesn't really mean anything unless qualified, so: I am powering about 120 kg of total system weight, on a full suspension MTB, on a Schwalbe Big Apple / Marathon Supreme mix (road tyres). I am driving...

The black cassette motor version - is centered in the middle of the frame - has no noise emission coming from spoke / rim; I am running this in a full-suspension mountain bike on the road, and I am actively exploiting the suspension - has a no-load max speed of about 42 km/h (according to the...

That does follow the instructions for the pswpower SM-5 plug, indeed. I wonder whether the eight pins of the Yosepower plug are in fact wired in the fashion that I speculate about above (it would make sense from a strictly logical point of view, no?), and whether applying the equivalent...

Would there be a way to run the Yosepower kit without the display? The larger Kunteng controllers can be wired up in a fashion that they are always on(?), operate without display, and drive on PAS alone, from whatever setting was last made through the display...

The net weight of the motor seems to be about 2.8 kg. Rim and spokes add ... a lot ... to the package. It seems much could be gained by tweaking those components.

For the benefit of the community: I got a response quickly (kudos!), but it seems as if this specific adapter cable will not be available going forward.

I now need further education, please, to help me assess the differences between controllers with the respective labels KT36ZWSR-EP01 KT36/48SVRPD-[blacked out] I was hoping that switching to the "KT36/48SVRPD-[blacked out]" controller would yield the following benefits, in order of importance...

Yes, that looks perfect - except for the "out of stock" part. Email fired off :)

The controller from my YosePower kit is labelled "KT36ZWSR-EP01". I have always been interpreting "ZWSR" as square wave and "SVPRD", as in KT36/48SVPRD-17A, as sine wave. I welcome any and all education :)

    I am running this pack: http://enerprof.de/shop/batteries/ebike-and-pedelec-batteries/enerpower-softpack-36v-10s3p-10-35ah-with-bms-pedelec-battery-8x8-diy/ which advertises Continuous discharge current: 20A = 720 Watt 10 Min. discharge current: 25A = 900 Watt 5 Sec. discharge current: 35A =...

I might be dense, sorry: My 17A pswpower controller has three individual motor phase wires, and one plug DJ7061-2.8-21 for 5x hall and 1x speed...

    Yosepower hub kits.

Total system weight for me is about 90 kg human + 20 kg machine = 110 kg - I'd be thrilled if a 13s3p (2.5 kg weight in total) when combined with the 17A pswpower _sine wave_ controller were to offer even more (sustainable) torque. Not sure, though, what exactly to expect from going from the OEM...

Beware! HMRC are getting more greedy.

Nope. There is a very well-enforced customs border between Switzerland and the rest of the world.

@Nealh - may I ask how you managed to sort out all these Julet connectors? I would like to replace the kit controller (Julet) with a pswpower-sourced dual 36V/48V 17A controller - but that one comes with different connectors for PAS, throttle, display, and motor (power, hall sensors).

Yesterday was the first day I could try my YosePower kit, the 26" rear hub variant in all black - 350 Watt nominal power, disc brake compatible (but not compatible with hydraulics and Hollowtech cranksets) In addition to all that has been said, and which I can confirm, the controller supplied...

    A Very Cheap Conversion kit

The more recent ones by seller ysbattery are labelled Jiabo - http://www.jiabo-motor.com/ - and I have a sneaky suspicion that these are CZJB 92C2 motors, because some guy in Romania has something strikingly similar at http://www.biciclete-electrice.com/ais-ibikes/Kit-350W-geared and among the...
