+1 on Flecc's advice. I have had similar problems and fixed them this way. Just don't overdo it.

I believe there is and will remain a market for high end hub bikes, but I guess it is probably small I still love my 15kg Cytronex Synapse - I also love my mk1 Torq. They are very different, but I still use both weekly. I would never buy crank drive personally.
