By way of introduction - Hi!

Have a look at the Riese and Muller Charger, with a Enviolo hub and Gates belt drive. I’ve been riding one for 4 yrs and service is minimal. Last service was a software update .

    Performance Line Bearing help

So I’ve been fortunate to have been able to affect a repair, due to the people who appreciate the real value of what they have and do not discard. I’m very much ‘old school’ and therefore don’t throw much away, just in case! Is there a register within Pedelecs forum of people that may have spare...

    Performance Line Bearing help

Lucky yes, but is it the case that Bosch do not have serviceable electronics for retail or is it just that my wife’s gen1 is deemed obsolete?

    Performance Line Bearing help

Hi there, Have been a member here for a while but not active. However a couple of weeks ago my wifes Bosch gen1 motor was causing a problem. I thankfully diagnosed and fixed the problem which was the pawls sticking.Unfortunately when refitting all and testing I had no motor assistance, although...

Interested in motorhome e-bike charging solutions, ie 12v to 42v

Hi, Like you Richard I’ve got a boost converter recently delivered and am proposing using it to charge from 12v to 42v. In the past I have used my old 300w inverter but saw how it really pulls power from the leisure batteries and therefore looking for a more economical solution and not always...

    Newbie Riese and Muller

Hi Dan, Yes and some! Although now only used occasionally as in the summer I fitted a BBSo2 on my mountain bike. Having a blast, met up with similar guys and now cycle together regularly up over theSouth Downs. Still grinning and enjoying the ‘eBike ‘experience. I’m fortunate to be able to...

My new Trek Super Commuter - Nuvinci hub

Nice bike Dennis 99, The wife and I are both running Nuvinci hubs and enjoy the virtually infinite gearing and ease of use/maintenance these hubs offer. I agree with you that they are an ideal hub for commuting on ebikes. We have also enjoyed riding on woodland and 'packed' trails but they fall...

What do you get for £1.88 these days?

Thanks for the share. Just ordered one for the wife. I have a rear view on my bike and over the holidays in Norfolk my wife could see the full benefit especially, when the family were all together cycling in a line. It's a no brainer at that price, however there's some import tax to pay on top...

    E - bikes I saw today

Wherever I am, I am always on the lookout for other ebikes. I happened to be in Brighton today and saw 3x e - bikes. A Raleigh ,a G - tech and a Babboe cargoe bike with 3 child seats. It felt really good to see them all, especially the Babboe. As mentioned in another post just recently...

    Home Made E-Bike

Hi Gubbins, Thanks for the share. One day I was late for a meet with a friend on his new £3500 Trek Emtb and when I arrived he was talking to a guy who had fitted an aftermarket hub kit to his regular commute. He had been running the conversion for a couple of years, travelling to work and...

    NuVinci IHG

Hi, My wifes commute is mainly flat (although I'm fairly sure that she would disagree). For me the use is mixed. We live near the South Downs N.P and I will cycle along the ridge as much as I can, as I really enjoy the benefits of being off road. I have to cycle up Ditchling Beacon to get there...

    NuVinci IHG

FWIW, Both my wife and I run Nuvinci hub gears. She has been riding hers for almost 4 years and has 3500 miles on the clock, with no problems or any maintenance issues. Last year I purchased a Reise and Muller with a Nuvinci hub based on my wifes experience. I have ridden just over 1000 miles...

    Recommend a rack bag

IMHO. Ortlieb, easy mount on bike. Shoulder strap to carry, waterproof and the pair that I bought high viz at night. Expensive in comparison to other manufacturers but I'm certain will last.

    Newbie Riese and Muller

Nuvinci. I really like the infinite gearing, especially when the uphill gradient changes slightly and I can finely shift. (I feel that it helps me obtain maximum battery life) I have read that some people think that they can be a 'bit draggy'. Can't say I've noticed with the weight of the bike...

    Newbie Riese and Muller

Hi Guys, I've owned my Riese and Muller charger for around a year now and thought it about time to share my thoughts if anybody might be interested. I am thoroughly enjoying the bike and have just passed 1000 miles.Thats 1000 miles that I wouldn't have completed without the bike. Ride safe
