    Surprise Surprise Number plates etc

In a sane world I agree with all that you say. However with this current mob in power the finer details will be irrelevant. I believe its already happened in Italy, I think its for all bikes so unfortunately its only a matter of time.

    Surprise Surprise Number plates etc

Surprise surprise, as sure as the sun rises and sets they are using the recent events to further clamp down on any kind of personel transport. They are using these idiots running around with illegal e-bikes, motorbikes etc and using it as an excuse. Nothing to do with these 15 minute cities or...

    Woosh Rambletta Rear panniers

Looking for recommendations on a rear pannier set for the woosh rambletta. The rear rack looks short as in top of rack to bottom mount. A small set would be ok, as my wife’s current set up is an embarrassment and my bag is full. And the parking for my bike leaves a lot to be desired ! .

    Giving Up Mountain Biking

Thanks for the advice, lots to think about. I like this part as I get older, I enjoy the technical side as much as the cycling. I have thought about a small trailer but again the older I get the less I take on tours. I have done a fair amount of touring on my Ridgeback panorama but in all...

    Giving Up Mountain Biking

Absolutely love my Voodoo Bizango with Shimano system, with its 29" wheels its massive feels like a dirt bike. However over the time of ownership it has tempted me too much to try trails a mid 50 year old should not really be doing. Anyway to the point latest crash 2 broken metacarpals and 2...

How to Make the Bike Go Slower?

But on level one the power is very low so you really should not notice it much. See my other post for more information. I can notice a massive difference between level 1 and level 5, are you seeing this ?

How to Make the Bike Go Slower?

They will, their customer service is outstanding. I have had my kit for over a year now and its been a really good system. Its almost silent and just gets on with its business in the background.

How to Make the Bike Go Slower?

To be honest in my experience its just been a system that is pretty much just works away in the background. It does keep applying power until it reaches 15 mph or 20 mph depending on the setting. On power setting 1-2 you need to add a lot of work to get to 15 mph on any hills and some effort on...

How to Make the Bike Go Slower?

I have a swytch kit and it is very progressive. I would have a look at the cadence sensor to ensure the LED is lighting up uniformly as you pedal.

    Conversion kit for retro khs

I agree with the previous posts that there is nothing wrong with front hubs. My daily hack for non leisure use is a MTB with a swytch kit fitted and its been outstanding. Took about 30 minutes to fit and with a few extra parts can easily be swapped between bikes in minutes.

    Woosh Woosh Rambletta

We have used our rambletta in torrential rain on many occasions and through a harsh scottish winter with deep snow and sub zero temperatures. We have had absolutely zero issue with the weather conditions. We have the non suspension bike and find it ok, we even use it on some pretty rough trails...

    New to E bikes

All good advice, being the same height as you I also have to be careful of the frame size. But for just pottering about and short commutes electric bikes are more forgiving of frame size. The throttle requirement rules out all major brands, if this requirement was dropped many more choices would...

    New to E bikes

Your Throttle requirement limits your choices to a few bikes or some kits. I agree with woosh, the woosh gran camino ticks all your boxes. We have a woosh rambletta and its fantastic.
