    New C5

Looks great, but no use on the cycle paths around where I live, as they all have narrow restrictive barriers every few hundred yards...............I even have to turn the bars on my normal bike and lift and shuffle forward to get through..............

    Presteigne Show

I attended today, and was very disappointed, lots of 'manufacturers'/dealers e.g. Bionx, Heinzmann, Cytronex, the guys who do the Nano Brompton, and others, had elected not to attend. I'm keen on a tetro-fit kit, but found nothing of interest. It was very poor compared to two years ago (I was...

    New Trek Ride+ electric bike

Was in my lbs yesterday (picking up a Trek 7.6 FX) , took a quick look at the new Trek Ride+ electric bike, released to dealers last Thursday. Very smart, basically a Trek 7.3FX with the Bionx rear hub motor. With Trek developing this with Bionx it's easy to understand why Cytronex didn't...

Query re purchasing a bike of value >£1000 limit on Cycle to Work scheme

Thank you all, for your replies. I phoned Cyclescheme this morning seeking clariifcation (should have done that before I guess..) and they confirmed that £1000 was the limit. Unfortunately it looks like a Cytronex will be beyond me - how I wish I'd gone for it last year when they were doing...

Query re purchasing a bike of value >£1000 limit on Cycle to Work scheme

Hi, I'm a newbie to this forum and have been 'lurking' and learning a great deal as I consider which e-bike route to embark upon. My employer is going to offer c2w via Cyclescheme, and there is a £1000 limit on the value of the bike. Useful info here -...
