I have a bike with a hub motor (I think Bafang). The controller is a Bigstone C500 and its broken. I have sourced a replacement one from Yose power but its showing me an error code 9 which is about the communication with the rest of the bike. Any thoughts?

I just bought this bike - "pro rider switch" but i cant seem to find any mention of it anywhere on the net. No reviews etc. Initial thoughts is that it's a good buy for the price (entry level price) - just a little heavy - 250w motor 11Ah battery, hydraulic discs, front suntour suspension...
