    Orbea warranty

Hi, everyone, I recently got a massive frame crack in my aluminium 2021 Orbea Wild FS H25. It was not safe to ride. My local dealer in Sheffield, got me a brand new frame and fixed it in 2 weeks under the Orbea lifetime frame guarantee. Thank you JE James. It went from red to light green, but...

Hardly used TongSheng TSDZ2B 48V 350W/500W Torque Sensing Mid Drive Motor

Hi Guy's, I bought a new TSDZ2B motor recently and I want to sell it. It's done 50 miles and works as it was intended, fault free. I have changed the casing so that it can be used with a 104 BCD chainring. When I removed the original casing I had to butcher it to remove one of the Allen screws...

Short distance folding ebike to put in the boot of my EV

Thank you, that would be a good solution. I've never fitted a rear rack, can you get one that clamps to the chain stays?

A rear rack battery pack would be my ideal solution also.

The OP is 98KG ☺️. I was 117KG before I started e-biking. I think I originally said I was 103 but forgot to calibrate my scales.

Yes, I wrote to Whoosh and Andy told me they hadn't any stock of 20's. He did say they might restock them in the future, so fingers crossed.

Short distance folding ebike to put in the boot of my EV

Thanks Stuart, I was hoping someone would respond. My last experience of rim brakes was in 1976 and maybe things are better now. I seem to remember centre pull were the best, but most these days are side pull. My first bike had rod operated brakes, front wheel only but that would have been made...

I didn't see a weight limit either and I'm a bit of a rebel, so wasn't too concerned. As long as it felt safe and didn't flex.

I was going to ditch the parcel shelf, stand it vertically, strap it up and throw an old bath towel on it for a bit of extra security. All the rear windows are heavily blacked out on mine as well.

I'm put off the Dahon because of the rim brakes I'm also struggling to find a decent conversion kit. I don't really want to be at the mercy of Ali Express or eBay. I have found a bike that I think is suitable and offers excellent value for money...

Short distance folding ebike to put in the boot of my EV

Hi Andy, I don't know as I never got it to run for more than 9 miles. It came up with a Hall Sensor error in the motor which it wouldn't let me reset. I sent it back to Vive and got my money back.

Interesting but irrelevant now for me as it's going back to the supplier.

Thank you very much Antony, that makes sense. I have now got another problem as I have an error 3 code which I can't reset. I'm going to have to deal with the supplier, hopefully they will assist, watch this space.

Short distance folding ebike to put in the boot of my EV

Mysteriously after playing with the settings today and riding about 4 miles the display ended up showing all 5 battery bars, no idea how that happened. In the back of my mind I seem to remember someone saying on a YouTube video that the battery indicator didn't read properly until you had a few...

Have a read further back in the thread Neal. The battery was measured at 41 volts off load after charging.

That's very interesting, do you have a conclusion based on the limited info I've posted? I'll have another look at the tyres tomorrow as I'm just taking my dog for a walk at the moment. Thank you.

I have a couple of those scales but not tried that yet. My Engwe C20 Pro has a few problems, one that didn't surprise me and two that did. So the one that doesn't surprise me is the wheel bearings were too tight, easy fix. The next problem was when I'd fully charged the battery overnight and off...
